Forget reality TV kids - that's what a REAL star looks like! God bless you Jean, a superb actress and by all accounts one of the nicest and most humble TV legends of all time.
What a gracious lady she was. A true television icon. RIP Jean.

my all time faveourite jean alexander it broke my heart when this lovely lady passed away im so pleased jean won this award she was the very best allways laughed when hilda sung in the rovers return jean a great national treasure loved by me and all the viewers a very special lady indeed and my all my faveourite. seeing jean here wish me luck as you wave me goodbye bought a tear to my eye thx you jean for all them amazing memorys along side stan and eddie yates classic coree st at its very best.

The street started to fall apart when Hilda left but Jean Alexander gave us the wonderful Aunty Wainwright.
She was really something, such a great actress.

Arguably Coronation Street’s greatest actress. There were some great queens but Hilda is truly iconic. Jean Alexander is a proper character actor.

None of them were a patch on Jean (hilda).
Poor Russell died that year.
Absolutely wonderful lady and actress. Bit of advice though Jean , dont ever enter the VOICE 😂😂
