Playing of my charge 3 and boombox is clearly a winner🤗

In the end it's about Connect and Connect Plus comparability. I have two Pulse 3's so I have to get a boombox to make the P3's highs work the BB bass on the connect plus. I would like to go cheaper and get one Extreme to work with the P3's. I'd be happy with that, but that setup won't happen.

Outdoors, I still say the boombox on max blasts further. Indoors, two xtremes spread apart for sure.

Please help me I have Carge 3 that can't turn on, unless it's connected to the USB port. A. There is a way to solve this issue? Pressing common button combinations do not work B. There is a way to update firmware using my PC? The JBL Connect app can't find the device (though I can play music from my android) Thanks

8:05 I'm still happy with the Extreme but im more a fan of the mids and UPPER bass and LOWER treble. I like a good mix. I'll admit all times the pop of cymbals on the boombox sounded better but...That was it. Full disclosure: I didn't play this on hesdphones...I actually played the test on a JBL Extreme! Just got it and im making sure it was the right choice FOR ME to pick it over a Boombox.

I just got my extreme 2 I love it. I already want to get the boombox and pair them together :0. I think the extreme is the go to speaker if you want to go outside and carry one tbh.

I had the extreme and took it back bcuz I have the extended warranty purchased the boom box price wise it’s steep but the performance of this speaker knocks out the extreme only drawback is the size and the price but like I always say u get what u pay for and u r getting quality sound it’s worth it but honestly u won’t be disappointed with the sound I’m a music person so much do go beyond when it deals with my listening pleasure

Yes i said it's the double JBL Xtreme both price and sound.

I'll admit the boombox sounded better on SOME of those but...I'm still happy with my choice of the extreme. Especially simce its only 200 now while the boombox is still 400. Not worth it for a tiny quality incresse on SOME songs.

The Xtreme (especially Xtreme 1) is still probably the best and loudest for the size/portability. Strangely the Xtreme 2 is not as loud but the bass is somewhat deeper.

@@jeff033 Agree'd! The boombox is the proper upgrade. Getting one too actually, super excited! Bit of a bluetooth junkie, so far the best I've ever heard among hundreds are the Soundboks and AIWA Exos-9 but for real portability to quality/volume that can be safely strapped to a bike rack - the JBL Boombox may be the one! Exos-9 makes a phenomenal soundbar for movies with clarity that really does compare extremely well to surround 7.1 systems. JBL is killing it with the dual subwoofer radiators on most of their stuff! For Bose, maybe the SoundLink Mini II is the best for a super small portable speaker.

yea, better get an Aiwa Exos 9 , a Teufel Boomster XL or a DiamondBoxx model M....all of those 3 are better in terms of sound quality, loudness and have a similar price tag. The Boombox is mabye a bit more portable but you can't carry it for a long distance, considering the weight. Anyways, nice review, love the recording quality =)
