If you ask me about both,i would say that JBL offers a punch in low ends and certain instruments while Song S400 offers a more dynamic sound in highs,mids and has adequate bass response but surely it's not deep bass for good or worst it all depends on your taste,if you prefer a dynamic sounding output sony will impress you in first impression but if bass and instruments is all you want then JBL 2.1 is for you both offer good vocals although sony has slightly better vocal clarity because it doesn't incline towards deep bass.
JBL bar 500 pro vs Samsung q800b ? What's your opinion? Samsung q800b has up firing speakers as well and has active voice amplifier also .. kindly share your views .. thank you

Bass düşkünü isen kesinlikle jbl al samsung bass konusunda hiç iyi değil subwoofer'ı çok küçük yapıyor ve subwoofer kutusunu yanlış bir şekilde yapıyor.

Both has same level of bass hts20r is 5.1ch and hts400 is 2.1

Sony s400'0 denemiştim bassları iyi ancak sesleri biraz boğuk.Jbl 2.1'in hem bassları güçlü hemde sesleri çok net ve yüksek kaliteli.

I had fhe jbl and wasnt happy the speakers are so poor and only 100w the sub is great but became faulty and at high volume barely any bass and serious distortion from speakers gona try the sony

JBL does not have the punch, sound quality is flat but Sony S400 is much better in sound quality and bass, its more thunderous than JBL. Sony is a clear winner in this competition. Sony is way ahead they have maintained best sound quality compared to JBL in every corner and its evident when you focus on the upper sound frequency. Sony RF 700 is far far better than the new refurbished models of JBL and the cost of Sony is far less than JBL.

WHY WOULD YOU PUT A DOWN FIRING SUBWOOFER ON ITS SIDE? THE WHOLE POINT IS FOR IT TO FACE DOWN. THE SOUND COMPARISON IS USELESS OTHERWISE. THE OTHER SUBWOOFERS ARE FRONT FIRING.
