Can you use the soundbar without the subwoofer?

Do I need to used the hdmi and the arc cable or just one of them

Hdmi and arc is the same thing. Hdmi arc is the input in your tv which means audio return channel

No, if your tv supports hdmi arc or earc you can use it with any tv brand remote, if your tv dont have hdmi arc/earc you can still use hdmi connection for sound but you must use sony soundbar remote instead and if you use optical connection you then must use sony soundbar remote too, I hope this helps :)

Thanks for this advice. I was trying to make that decision whether to use bluetooth or HDMI Arc. WITH Arc its more stable. Thanks for the second opinion. @@MrKaravaj

samsung has dedicated center speaker

I bought this home theather and i feel the subwoofer is sounding off beat with a little delay, i think its because its bluetooth connected. Any way i can fix this? Hope you can help.

You can turn the sub off and just use the sound bar. You also have full control of the amount of bass, should you leave the sub connected

the different producers of TV vs soundbar shd not be a problem, the only question s whether your TV has Bluetooth built-in. If yes, then you shd be able to connect this soundbar of course.

You would need to buy an external FM tuner (that also has a digital optical audio out connection) and hook it up to the sound bar. It does not have a radio built into the sound bar

Does it work with older samsung tvs? And do you plug the soundbar into the tv or the source device where the video comes from?

I have an older Samsung TV and just bought the sound bar. It paired with no issues. It’s a good sound but I wish I could make it sound a bit clearer.

Sony bass is not deep that's why I hate sony. It's feels like cheap bass.. better I will buy JBL 2.1 DEEP BASS
