Jay Leno is the Ultimate car guy. His passion for cars is shared by so many of us. He's the type of guy you could feel comfortable sitting down and having a beer with and BS'ing about your cars. Wish more people were like him.
15:09 - "yeah, they look thrilled..." haha, awesome
This is better than most automobile television shows.

Mr.Leno, want to tell you how much your show means to me as the automotive industry changes. The history you preserve in both education, and automobiles you have and show is a wonderful break from day to day drag of news both in America and International. Thank you sincerely for sharing your passion with the many who share similar passion.
Never watched much late nite TV, always thought Jay was "OK", but this "...Leno's Garage" series has shown what a great guy Jay is... a guy who knows how to share the passion, kick a tire, tell a joke, take a joke, and still be a regular guy. I really enjoyed this Ultimate Car Week coverage. You could have made a dozen shows on this one experience. Thanks so much for the fun, nostalgic, and lustful look at cars!

What I love about Jay's Garage is the restorations. Unlike other shows where most of their new parts are installed with a trowel or take a $500 car and put $10000 worth of TV's and speakers into it just to turn around and sell it, Jay and his people tear them down to the frame and repair even the tiniest things to make them as safe, reliable and as close to turn-key as possible for his own enjoyment.
@MrGaryGG48

That's right... and if they can't find the replacement parts they need, they trot right over to their 3-D printer and make whatever is needed. That's about as cool as it gets!! "Well, that thing is from 1901, I don't think they still carry parts for it." "Don't worry about it. We got that covered!!" ;^)
In 77, I was a marine, stationed in Kaneohe, Hawaii, and a friend of mine was "dating an older woman", and she had an "XKE Jag with the straight six". He'd ask me to look at it, because a hydraulic clutch was unusual at the time, and I repaired it for him. I took it to about 160 going out the front gate, without it even breaking a sweat. I still love that memory. Jay, you really do us a good service, showing your cars, and everyone else's.
34 million dollar ferrari gto!?!?!??!?! OMFG. WOW. Its so cool how Jay Leno goes out of his way to film this stuff. I love it!

Of course, she should have told him in Czech: Jseš umělec (if being on first name terms) or jste umělec (last name terms, sort of..). First I reckon that the guy actually understands a little bit of English and second, the sentence "jseš umělec", meaning "you're an artist", has often a very ironic connotation that really says something like "you suck so abysmally at what you're doing that it could even be called art". That's why I believe she instinctively chose not to translate because it sounds so much better and honest in English. And of course, you're not true Czech if you don't give single f*ck about thing called article.

Dear Jay thank you so much for all you do, can't help but smile over the range of things you bring to all of us on these show's and can't wait for more. You really do live a great gearhead life and were thankfull to get to ride shotgun with you through your journeys!
The best episode of Jay Leno's Garage ever! That was just great, never seen so much passion in one video !
When I saw your preview for this I was afraid I would miss it, since I rarely watch television anymore. Thanks so much for posting this.
39:00 Jay: "Tell him his an artist." She: "You're an artist." :D
Jay is doing a fantastic job he's the very best of Master of Ceremonies. His insightful questioning keeps you on the edge of your seat. He doesn't need the pretty girls you keep your attention, he's the whole package himself, humor, fun, and the mystery of what's next. Surprise, surprise, surprise.
Jay can really sell these shows. He can entertain and he knows when to change the subject. So even I can find it interesting though I am not a real car enthusiast.
"Trailer Queens", I thought of the old Sammy Kershaw song, Queen of My Double Wide Trailer 😂
This may be my favorite episode to date. Jay, I am still very surprised your last comeback to television didn't lean more to a car show like this one.
Thanks Jay. It's great to live vicariously through your adventures. Much appreciated.
Can't lie this was very entertaining
Thank you so much for posting this on youtube and making it available for us European viewers as well. Looking forward to more pebble beach videos.
This was great Jay and crew, so glad you guys put this stuff up for us all! Thanks very much, awesome job
Jay is re-living! You can almost tell for sure he's glad he now can put all his time into his passion
16:10 Jay leaning on the old wood! YIKES! The look he gives @ the very end right @ the place where Jay has his foot after Jay saying “ Thanks for preserving it”. 😂🤣😂 Jay is crazy.
Jay, this video was excellent. Great editing, nice fast cut scenes and very entertaining to watch! I was a bit bummed when you retired from the Tonight Show but this video here goes to show how good of a car show you can make when you have some time. Excellent work, and please keep it up for us enthusiasts' sake!

Super Nintendo Chalmers One of my 1st cars was a Ford Escort. Although you have me beat, I also had a Ford Escort wagon, a '78 Plymouth Volarie, and a '78 AMC Matador. I picked up girls in all 4. I was also only 17 by the time I had the last one so it was easy to impress 15-16 year old girls. God I miss those days. 😏😏
Another great show! What I Love about Jay the most is how he wants to drive the cars!

I appreciate the fact that Jay Leno decided he didn't need to be a "Potty Mouth" in order to be funny. As the famous Red Skelton once said, "If you have to use profanity in your act to get a laugh, your material is NOT funny". Canada had a brilliant comedian named Russell Peters, of Indian decent, who used to be hilarious and could equally insult anybody from any culture and have them laughing at themselves as well because he did it to everybody with pretty convincing accents. Now he's just degenerated into the same vulgar vein as most other comics these days and I don't bother following him anymore. I find it particularly ironic that Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld co-created the #1 Television show of ALL time without resorting to this crap, but then Larry decided he needed to do Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is generally a profanity laced sitcom full of F this and F that and F you, that I dare not share with my grandchildren. Society has gotten so used to this verbal diarrhea that some kid non nonchalantly says F You Pig to a cop and then gets himself blown away!
