I like how you can't even really argue with the points that he started with before he started to take out people with rocket launchers and arrange corpses into question marks I mean the bat family is pretty messed up. Alfred let a child facing grief become a crime fighter before they began adopting orphans and training THEM to fight dangerous sociopathic lunatics who kill for killing sake WHILE THEY ARE STILL MINORS. I mean, I know Batman's philosophy was created to be seen as heroic but at this point it feels like denial tbh

Batman is 200% unhealthy. TBF though, the idea of the Robin's is that he gives them an outlet to deal with their pain and turn out better than he did (and they all (eventually) do; not having nearly the psychological issues of Bruce). Aside from Dick, Bruce didn't really willingly take in kids to make them Robin. Jason was originally sent to an orphanage after he was found stealing off the bat mobile (until that orphanage turned out to be trafficking kids and Bruce had little other choice and Jason clearly had issues). After Jason's death, Bruce original adamantly refused to work with anyone (becoming more brutal and almost going off the deep end as a result (it was revealed that Bruce NEEDED a Robin probably more than any of them needed to be Robin)). He nearly killed the Joker immediately after only to be stopped by Superman. It was then that Tim Drake deduced Bruce's identity on his own and FORCED himself as Robin. Stephanie Brown was the daughter of a villian anyway. Damien was raised in the league of assassin's from birth and just wanted to be by his father's side (when he first came, he beat Tim to near death thinking that's what he needed to do to be worthy of the mantle (because again, raised under the league of assassin's)). He probably needed to be Robin more than anyone to learn restraint and adapt to being outside the league of assassin's. As a father, Bruce gave him the childhood he never got a chance to have (because he was raised by literal Assassin's from birth). That is to say, the Robins mostly have a cause (and arguably turn out better than if they hadn't been Robin (even Jason (if we're reading the new 52 or rebirth outlaws)). Alfred probably just didn't see himself in a position to stop Bruce from making his choices. Bruce is 200% not mentally healthy but at least raises his "children" to be better and more positive.

@@vullord666 I agree with what you said tho I will say that Batman being mentally healthy depends on who’s writing him. That’s not to say that he can be 100% mentally as Batman because as long as the version of him being Batman exists then he’s not all mentally healthy. This is a guy who opted to dress as a giant Bat and beat up criminals as a coping mechanism for the trauma he suffered as a young child whine he should have gone to counseling to sort through his grief BUT if someone actually writes Batman properly Batman can be more mentally stable/healthy which can have him have good relationships with his kids and be more compassionate and kind. It’d also be stupid to deny that he hasn’t made any impacts as Batman, in any instance where Batman retires, dies, or goes missing, crime rate rises up in Gotham. Regardless of Batman’s mental stability as an individual, Gotham NEEDS Batman. As for his Robins it’s a different story with a lot of debate Batman taking Richard in is the hardest to justify for me because Batman could’ve helped him bring Zucco to justice and push him to live normally afterwards. Jason is a bit easier since (depending on the version), he was already turning to crime and he most likely would’ve wound up as a criminal, a junky, or dead by the time he was 20 if it wasn’t for Batman trying to channel his energy towards fighting crime instead of joining crime It’s also important to keep in mind that Jason’s death was a HUGE and rude awakening up for Bats and he didn’t actively seek another Robin after his death. It’s as you said, all the other Robins came to him and practically forced themselves to become Robin. Tim pushed to be Batman’s Robin and would’ve become a vigilante anyway, Stephanie WAS already a vigilante before meeting Batman, and Damian…does he even need an explanation? The kid was already a killer when he met his father. In the end, the person I really raise my eyebrow at when it comes to Batman having kids as his sidekicks is whoever thought THAT was a good idea because at the end of the day Batman is a fictional character and all his choices and personality are all completely up to whoever is writing him. Whatever writer decided that having a child soldier was a good idea deserves a slap. I mean how hard is it for the writers to have made Batman train his kids until they were 18 and give them all that time to decide if it was what they really want?

The thing about Jason’s killing spree is, how many of Batman’s rogues gallery could be feasibly reformed? There’s plenty of series where some of his villains show signs of being able to be saved. Name how many of Batman's rouge's gallery have been fully rehabilitated in the entire 23 year span Jason Todd remained dead. None of them and every one of them has either escaped Arkham either unchanged or worse. These are the names of Jason Todd's victims. Poison Ivy, a misanthropic mass murderer which has killed thousands of people in her attempt to convert humans into her own personal plant feed (a cannibal). The Joker, a mass murdering psychopath responsible for millions of heinous atrocities, from blowing up orphanages, shooting and stabbing mercilessly the lives of children and infants indiscriminately, to turning the entire world into the joker by releasing the joker toxin into the Atlantic Ocean, to being a serial rapist, to becoming the ambassador of Iran just to buy nuclear warheads and blow up a country with over 41 million casualties.... Harley Quinn, a once promising therapist turned deranged hybristophiliac, child serial killer, international terrorist and crime lord. Professor Pyg, once an aspiring scientist, now turned professional serial killer who embalms and lobotomizes preschoolers with machines to turn them into his own personal dolls. Victor Zsasz, a vainglorious serial killer with a hero complex who believes that leaving lacerated bodies as calling cards for Batman is the only way to truly "liberate" the people of Gotham. None of these people have any redeeming qualities whatsoever. Batman has given them chance after chance after chance, and nothing has worked. Think about it, Harley Quinn is a professional psychologist, she knows how to manipulate her behavior to concoct sympathy from the strongest psychological analysts, even Batman. Think about it, it's not that Jason Todd has no sympathy for the poor or the weak, he's removing the threats to their lives. Batman's rouge's galley serves as a plague to Gotham, and it's people.
