KZread has opted to fucking mark this video as 'For Kids' despite the tag [GRAPHIC] in the fucking title. As such, I will add a litany of fucking swear words here until these idiots get the fucking memo that people STILL USE the comment section here to hold discussions. This video had 1.3k comments, all gone thanks to their moneygrubbing ways. As such, we will commence.

    This video isn't for kids and never will be. KZread tried to COPPA claim this and I seem to have fixed it for the time being by....well, look at the description. There's too much here to lose to bad business practices. Sadly, they still wiped the 1.3k comments this video had amassed. I appreciate everyone still coming by and watching this clip after 10+ years.

    @@mitchellbaran7917 The first thing Batman does when he recovers from the transdimensional travel is yell at him to stop. With urgency. A desperate attempt to save him to, although he knows it's no use maybe he's been fast enough that Jhony might have a couple of years left in his tank. So of course he doesn't take it too personal, Batman would have preferred noone died, but forced to make the call he would chose to save his teammate. Jhony would have done the same thing. I also believe the fact that he got to do one last imposible thing that would be remembered for ages soothed his ego, which probably helped him go out with a smile and a laugh.

    ryan macdonald My take on the Syndicate is this: Owlman: Complete nihilist, willing to destroy everything to prove a point. Superwoman: Sadist, willing to destroy everything because she likes destruction. Power Ring: Upgraded crony, probably rose through the ranks of a gang without any real thought to running the damn thing. Ultraman: Muscle that became a Don. He likes being in control, and views the world as his property, but doesn't actually want it destroyed. Johnny Quick: Cocky thief that hit the big-time, and hit it hard. Willing to kill, and definitely prefers being in control, but doesn't actually enjoy the thought of death and destruction.

    Batman does this in Death of the Family. He's about to tell Joker his real identity but Mr. J doesn't wanna hear it so he pushes Batman away and ends up falling to his death. Its later revealed that Batman was bluffing and didn't know who he was. He knew Joker wouldn't be able to listen. So he doesn't kill people, but he makes them kill themselves.....that's even worse but...shit. Good way to keep blood off your hands and still do the deed.

  • @MasterChiefSamus

    @MasterChiefSamus

    It's not really worse. He gives them a choice. They can all choose to live if they do things right, and it takes some serious crimes for Batman to let them die on their own anyway. We can all agree Joker would get executed even in countries and states that don't normally allow a death penalty if it was the real world. Even if you can predict something bad will happen if you do something right, it's not a guarantee that it will indeed happen. It shouldn't stop you from doing the right thing if you weight both things on your morals and see which one is the heaviest: risk or reward. And the reward of stopping Joker is almost always lives saved. In this case, Barry's life was saved and Johnny was a murderer. It's messed up, but that's the world Batman lives in.

  • @MasterChiefSamus

    I can give it to you that he has responsibility over Johnny Quick's death, but Joker's? Owlman's? No. Batman's character always goes out of his way to keep his enemies alive. But you're making it look like it is his duty, and not his choice. Sometimes killing is unavoidable and uncontrollable, and you don't have to risk your own life or health to keep that from happening.. It is the criminal that puts Batman in that position, so why do you blame Batman?

    Batman knew a speedster was needed to make that portal. He also knew Flash was beyond ready to make the ultimate sacrifice, yet wasn't willing to let an already good man and friend make that decision yet. Despite his speed, Flash is still human. Johnny was willing to do the job after Batman lied to Flash about being too slow. Quick lived his life believing nothing could touch him. It was in his final moments that he realized that he was given a small chance of doing the right thing and saved lives over hurting them. Batman gave a villain a shot at redemption and Quick grabbed it not knowing until the end what being a hero was like. Save the world/multiverse, and it will thank you with every passing day.

    This was a great example of why I liked Batman so much. He was willing to lie to his friend and gaslight them to believe they were too slow, then open up that dangerous opportunity to someone else that he was willing to expend. All of this, unknown to either group, for the sale of getting the job done. Had he made it apparent that this would happen, both teams would've hindered their chance to deal with Owlman. But the cherry on top is that he cared for Johnny and had him stop immediately since it was going to kill him even sooner.

    This is the reason why Batman is far more reliable hero than the others, if his real, I don't think that he will give a damn about this people's comments. as long as he can save billions of life, he will certainly will sacrifice a life or a world just to save humanity. it doesn't matter to him who will get hurt as long as he can save humanity. he will take all the blame and he won't he give a damn, I wonder y everyone hates him, I think that world would be gone if not for him.

    0:40, despite being a criminal thug Johnny was ready to risk all to save the world. He really was “Johnny on the Spot”. As soon as he stopped vibrating his first question was “Did we save the world?” At that point it was the most important thing left for him. What a hero he could have been if he had made different life choices.

    Putting the fact that is definitely batman killing him aside, i like how he the first thing he asks is if the world is saved, before even addressing the fact he was tricked into aging himself to death. It shows that he really didn’t care he died so long as he helped them save everyone. The crime syndicate were exactly that: criminals. Not destroyers or conquerors like Doomsday or Darkseid, just people who used their superpowers selfishly. When push came to shove and the actual survival if the world was on the line, there were people among them like Johnny who were willing to give everything they had to help. It’s a not more nuanced than just “evil justice league” and it’s what i love. Even Owlman wasn’t truly evil, just seriously messed up in the head and selfish enough for it to make him a threat to everyone else.

    Thanks for fixing the fucking description. I hate that KZread is destroying the act of conversation by disabling comment sections. I've seen other videos recently that do pretty much the same thing you've done. They make it explicit enough for them to not be able to mark it, and I applaud them for doing so. I hope more people do this in the future, I love the discussion taking place under these videos.

    I think Johnny Quick was quite grateful to Batman. He seemed a good man, but he (for whatever reason) lived as a criminal. And in his last moment, he saved the multiverse (literally every universe in existence). Well, the Earths of the multiverse. And he seemed VERY satisfied that he could die like that.

    The look on Flash and Diana's faces, their eyes, great work by the animators! They all know Batman, and his nature and philosophies, yet they are always shocked when he keeps on showing them who he really is. Sometimes I think their surprise comes from the fact that they know he does what needs to be done, when they wouldn't, and their surprise comes from the fact that he will do the things they lack the intestinal fortitude to do. They fear their own darkness. Batman doesn't fear his. They also all believe darkness is always bad. Batman knows many times darkness is necssary in order for good to prevail. Batman said it to the reverse Flash and his minions, in "Flashpoint": "I agree. Your lives aren't worth much", then Superman continued with, "but Flash's life is". As Stan Lee used to say, "Nuff said".
