    He's a genuine guy. I respect him. I got pretty emotional when he was talking real about people in the business being heartless towards other people who may be in a rut. Everyone goes through their own experiences, lives and learns in their own way. People need to back off and like he said... "Don't worry about me, worry about you". He's fine and not crazy at all. Sometimes people with a deep passion for something are too pure for certain people to handle. Those certain people are mostly fakes who don't follow their heart and get clouded by money and superficial goals

Look at the way Chris Leben, the axe murderer and Crocop look like. If I was in Mayhem's shoes I would also choose to play my life in halves or quarters. I must say though he has a very good rep for coaching, but then again look at the current relationship between White and Ortiz. So Mayhem walked and now if he decides to coach would White allow the fighter he coaches and manages on the UFC...?

    This makes me so happy to see. Mayhem has always been one of my favorites to watch in the ring and he was one of the people that put me on to MMA. For that I’m always grateful because martial arts is the only reason i’m still here right now. Watching what seemed like the downward spiral of Mayhem hurt, but seeing him survive, advance, and grow just gives me more reason than ever to believe everything will be ok and that it’s alright to be exposed and vulnerable sometimes. God bless this brilliant and beautiful man

    I honestly think the vast majority of people that have heard of Jason Mayhem Miller (via Bully Beatdown or MMA fights) really have very little idea what he's really like. I'm including myself in this regard. We all have a little bit of insight, some more, some less. Jason probably has gone through some seriously, SERIOUSLY intense times, and yeah, he is a more emotional/intense kind of guy. A good guy/good heart. But freaking intense. We all have things that are tough for us to go through. Jason's trials are just more public than the vast majority of our struggles. I get that he may be a tad emotionally, etc. unbalanced. His dad sounds like a "tough guy" as well-and only guys who had "tough guy"/military dads REALLY would understand what that is like. Here's the thing, about Hollywood, tv, etc. Most people on tv are nothing like Jason Miller. A considerable percentage of people on tv/in movies, etc., OR are agents, directors, producers, execs, etc. are arrogant pricks, spoiled brats, total jerks, have seriously, SERIOUSLY messed up lives, or are sleaze bags. I've learned that by now. Mayhem is very, very different from those folks. He has integrity, he has heart. Sure he may have addictions, he may have other things he needs to change about himself. How can anyone listen to this and believe anything ELSE about the man-how can someone believe that he is not a good guy, that he is not someone you can trust. I don't care for that kind of person-more specifically, that kind of judgement. If I am mistaken about Miller, then I simply would state that I, like 99.99999% of you, haven't met him before, and I'm just going off my gut impressions of him. There you go media, thank you. Thank you for distorting the image of a good man.

  • @BenjaminGessel

    @BenjaminGessel

    8 жыл бұрын

    Mychael Darklighter Me? Definitely not. My dad was AWESOME, very kind, very righteous, very loving. I have known people/have had a few friends and acquaintances here and there that had dads that were very, VERY hard on them/more the "unfeeling"/"macho" kind of dad, etc. Military, yes, but more the tough farmer type, actually. The kind of dad that would get you up at 4 in the morning and work you until 8 at night (pulling weeds, digging ditches, building fences, etc.), with a few breaks for meals. And that was the least these guys had to do for their dads, etc. Its one thing to expect quite a bit from your son(s) (which has its positive aspects of course), but its quite another to sit around drinking beer or go hunting while your son(s) shovel pig poo/chop wood/pull prickly weeds, etc. all day. Those kinds of dads I have 0% respect for. But if the dad is working with his sons, awesome. I just have had disagreements with that kind of dad that withholds showing love for his son(s), etc. For whatever reason, including the reason given on a movie like "Red Dawn", although, you know, I understand the desire to "toughen up" one's sons. I just think that is not something that should be rushed into, and that some guys are too emotionally sensitive, etc. to be raised that way...

  • @BenjaminGessel

    @BenjaminGessel

    thenaturallyinsane1 Well, you can join the crowd who want to "stone the man to death". As for me, I'll be in the crowd trying to stop Jason from being "stoned to death" (yes, I caught the double meaning of that word, and I am referring to the original definition of the word (stone = rock). Jason is someone who may need to spend some time in jail, rehab, counseling, etc. perhaps, I'll give you that. But much more than that, I think he needs other things in life... But the man is not evil. He's essentially a good man, a very good man in fact. He's just still a bit out of control/addicted to stuff, etc. He's unpredictable. He's a little dangerous, yeah. Not a whole lot different from Mike Tyson, lets say. Iron Mike was also someone that I never particularly disliked. I realized early on that Mike was largely driven by his anger against bullies, and those who would pick on people smaller than themselves. Mike had anger issues as well of course. Boxing was probably a double-edged sword for Mike-an outlet for his anger, but it also made him MUCH more dangerous, lethal, etc. And Mike lost virtually everything he made from boxing-I understand the general factors regarding how this happened. Who wants to spiritually stone Mike now? I don't hate Mike, and I've never hated him, or was particularly disgusted by him. Why should I be? He has temper issues and other such issues, just like Jason. Mike's temper was probably a little worse, but not by much. Look up Steve-O, from Jackass. He's a similar kind of guy (compared to Jason), albeit, Steve is much more of a comedian, not a fighter. But Steve is a daredevil, absolutely FEARLESS. He's had similar difficulties in life as well. Steve is very, VERY different from me. Virtually 180 degrees different from me. But that doesn't mean that I should view him, or Mike, or Jason, as being more wicked/evil than myself necessarily, just far more reckless, their faults often being far more visible/obvious. Ultimately, God will judge. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve-O
