Anyone who knew Mayhem's record knows he's no joke. Mayhem in his prime was a grappling machine and was submitting guys left and right. When his mind started deteriorating that's when his career obviously went downhill. Mayhem is a legend in my honest opinion, he's been fighting since '98.

Now roga n i always thought I wanted to see you right more but your old casts are so much better and your knowledge means alot. I am glad you are with us today with a brain that seems to work at full capacity. I will never take you for granted because that's exactly what I did with mayhem. I feel like i knew mayhem and now he just seems to be a more extremely mentally off person. Some of his actions are a less mild version of my father who i love very much. I am just so glad I never pursued fighting like my dad and others who have lost the ability to be happy. I would mind less if I was happy people but they seem so miserable and just so misunderstood.

I normally agree with Joe on MMA shit, but why does he insist Arona was never the same after the Rampage fight? It's not the first time I've heard him say this. I'm not even a fan of Arona, but ALL of his most impressive accomplishments came after that fight. First middleweight to beat Wanderlei in forever years, runner up in the middleweight tournament, beat Sakuraba and Overeem. He only went on to lose 3 more times, 1 was a SD with Wanderlei and another was Shogun in his absolute prime. No shame in that, both those guys were absolutely top 5 P4P at the time.

Love Mayhem, love Rampage, love Sakuraba. Sakuraba was probably one of the first fighters to really do exciting, gangster shit in his fights.
Mayhem is an AMAZING HUMAN!!! Best of the best in my opinion. Someone like that is Passionate about everything and that's why he has been dealt some bogus cards in the past. Because he wears his heart on his shoulders. One of the greats for sure.. sorta like Joe Rogan... lol ❤💛💚
That finger wave, when Sakuraba was on the ground defending was one of the greatest pride moments of all time imo. Without a doubt he got more people interested, and made so many fans. That was such a legendary moment.
