That's why you never mess with older guys, you just don't know who they were and what they were capable of....or are still capable of. Even if his strength isn't all there, there's muscle memory and experience of getting punched in the face. I would have no idea who this guy was if I saw him in person. He looks like the guy in front of you in line at the grocery store buying steak with his nice wife.

Bear in mind folks, Mr. Abbot is 59 years young here. Bear in mind folks, Mr. Abbot is 59 years young here. He is a legend no doubt but in his defense very few people, including former athletes and even former professional fighters, save for maybe Iron Mike and Chuck Norris, don’t “look” old by the time they’re 60. And if they’ve suffered any physiological or neurological problems like Tank, the aging process is even more noticeable. But I bet he could still kick my ass..😂😂

Mr. Tank Abbott and I believe he earned the "Mr." not because of his age, is one of the very very few true legends that MUST be immortalized, I love this man, he's one of the best of ALL time.
Tank Abbott is an absolute legend. He wasn't acting. He was a brutal warrior. He mentioned fortitude in this clip and fortitude is something that he had tons of. I love how he always seemed a little criminal and watching him mention cops in a bad light repeatedly in this clip. I wouldn't expect him to like police very much considering what a rebel he was. Respect Mr Abbott......Respect.
I ordered UfC PPV back then and remember the only rules were no biting, eye gouging or fish hooking. I like the no time limits because it motivated fighters to get after it. Today too many guys are just looking to score and run the clock out. They should bring back headbutts and twelve to six elbows for main events.
