Yep. Completely destroyed Wrexham and Liverpool. You could have an impressive English owner like David Sullivan instead. 😂

Exactly. They've proven to be terrible owners. The only decent one has been John Henry. All the rest have been diabolical, and either did nothing (Kroenke, Lerner) or wanted to make it more like American sports - Ellis Short, Glazers, and now Boehly. Never get an American owner, because they WILL ruin your club. They just 'dont get' football. Boehly has shown this, so far.

Yes, exactly. I don't think poch could have stayed on with just a year left on his contract, and while I would have given him a 12 month extension, we don't know exactly what he was asking for. Mutual termination of contract was very likely, especially given poch's comments, which implied it a few weeks back. Not the end of the world for chelsea or poch.

Exactly. But instead, all the good players will get sold.....while the dross (Badiashile, Mudryk) will remain. Also think we should cut our losses with Nkuku - because I don't think he's ever going to get going. He's far too injury prone. Sell him, plus Badiashile, Mudryk and about five others - and keep the rest ..... including Gallagher and Chabollah.

How? Not attend games, Hand in your membership?? or stop reading Rolling Stone magazine..?
@robtyman4281

@@ar3tr0Cityzen420 Yes - these things exactly. The trouble with English fans in general is that they're not very good at protesting or making their views to the owners known (other than some booing sometimes at home games). They only become really active when their club is facing liquidation.....and by then it's too late. Mass boycotting of home matches, no season ticket renewals, and a refusal to buy the latest shirts - are all examples of real 'fan power'. This is what I mean. Fans in other countries (such as Germany for example) are generally much better at doing these things than English fans are. We're too complacent, and too apathetic. We let owners push fans around too much, and subsequently that means English fans tolerate bad or toxic owners much more than fans from other countries. A classic example of this are the Glazers at United. Fans say they hate them, yet seemingly do very little about it.

I’m a Chelsea fan and I hope the owners sell up and get the hell out of the premier league and football in general. They’ve sabotaged our club and are clearly hell to work for. They should’ve never got rid of Tuchel in the first place. The players they’ve let go is insane. They also want to get rid of the only players with passion for the club! I.e. @leonaidoo

@@molt3n412 so then post 2003, it's been instilled by the Roman era..wth.. many examples of Chelsea winning major honors despite chaos and extremely poor performance, or an endless manager merry go round
I am not a chelsea fan BUT it looks like massive disagreements between the football manager and higher club management.
We've just pushed out a manager who was trying to uphold the club's culture. Strangely enough, he was the one person who understood what Chelsea is and ironically help aid Roman's vision, of having a brimming academy, being realised. The club has now embraced Reece James as the undisputed club captain (rightfully or wrongfully), we've put him front and centre of the team yet it was Poch's decision in the first place; now it seems as if it was always destined to be. Fans and pundits alike were pining for Silva or someone more experienced to be captain yet Poch understood the long term vision. He was trying to develop a homegrown/English-oriented captaincy and hierarchy within the squad with James, Chilwell, Gallagher, Colwill and Chalobah being the lynchpins. For years we were mocked for solely having continental players now we're sacking a manager for wanting to establish a fundamentally English core. He's given debuts to Alfie Gilchrist, Michael Golding, Alex Matos, Josh Acheampong and Leo Castledine, in his first season, more than any other previous manager, under arguably the most tumultuous conditions. What makes this all the more disappointing is that previous years under Roman we felt as if every sacking was ultimately in order to course-correct, in this case it seems as if we're just steering ourselves into uncharted waters with many fighting for the wheel. Poch knew the league and now knew his team, whoever we get would need another adjustment period. Plus even then, what guarantees would have that he won't be sacked for a above-average season? The entire team wanted the manager to stay. Even under the great Tuchel, Conte and Mourinho we had players fall out with them, not with Poch. This is the odd occasion in our history where the team had more faith in the manager than the board. If anything the player's opinion should matter most as they are the ones who work with him daily. Players can never truly buy into a manager's tactics now because their opinion is not valued by the higher-ups. Eventually the players will develop their own "player power mentality" since the managers will be an ever revolving door whilst they're the constants. Poch developed into a father figure for this young crop, helping them develop their games. That's what Fergie did all too well. He may not have been the "winning-mentality" manager we needed long term but he was the right coach for right now. The next manager will be likely be stoic and cold because he'll be fighting for his job from day-one, no patience for these young lads, he'll get frustrated and leave, then the cycle continues again. Just gutted.
Now I know why Emma hayes decided to leave too.
@PjMasks-qu6bb

Good for her they would have eneded up ruining her legacy
United are going to miss out on Mourinho now!
David Moyes is out of contract, perfect opportunity to get him in, he's the best manager ever according to your show. No interest? How odd!
As a Chelsea supporter boelhy & co are a disgrace. First Tommy T and now poch. This hierarchy can't see eye to eye with top managers and it looks like we are going to have another season of rebuilding. In saying that Tommy T could return on his terms or it could be de zerbi. Poch was building something and the players were responding. We've had a massive injury hit season to boot..
Love all the neutrals now claiming he's a great manager, yet after the 5-0 Emirates humiliation he was useless and never won anything and a Spurs flop.
C'mon this isn't surprising at all cause poch regularly said it wouldn't be the end if he was to leave Chelsea and i took it he wasn't happy at all... And this "mutual consent nonsense" are just so the fans don't blame the owners...
I think it was the correct decision and we should bring Tuchel back. Potter, Poch are not elite managers. We have a good enough squad if motivated or managed by a better manager we can easily attain top four!
It's clear that he's been told there's either no money to strengthen in the summer or that he has to sell players in order to meet FFP. Why would you leave by mutual consent after a good ending to the season.
He is been linked with the vacant coaches job at Sunderland !
