It was the fact that they went to a place that was the site of multiple lynchings and hung an american flag from the spot that they used to hang black people from while displaying images of black people who were murdered by the police or who were protesting police violence. I am Black. And i was born and raised in Washington D.C. I moved to another state as adult and i bought some land in a small town. I have never been shown more respect as a human being than when i go into town, where my property is. Its how are you doing sir. How is your day going sir. Did you find everything you needed sir. Hell, i was replacing my truck battery outside of a Walmart. I had 4 people passing by ask me if i needed any help. People wave to you as you pass by in your vehicles. If they are in front of their homes as you oass by they wave. Just kindness, being polite, and respectful. I never had any of those things happen to me in the 30 years i lived in D.C. @@DangerousWordsPodcast Most people know how a community is supposed to work. But in some areas its just a lost art. I grew up in Washington D.C. And neighbors looked out for us. Told on us when we were acting up. Fed us. Taught us things. Were polite and asked one of us kids, if we go to the store for them. That is just lost now.

The way he ran off stage like a COWARD in vegas....discredit everything this coward offers.

I agree 100%. There is nothing racist about this song or video. Believe it or not people moved to small towns to escape the hostility of big cities. I moved out of Baltimore several years ago because of the constant gun violence and moved to a small town. I was among people who didn't even know Baltimore city police officer Keona Holley who was a black female police officer who was ambushed sitting in her patrol car in South Baltimore who was mourning when I heard about it. And my heart aches for her family. People in small towns do not harm police officers.

@universalsoldier2293 I am so happy to go to town and use our small businesses. I know most of the owners just by being a regular. When I go to the store. I see people I know, and we hug with joy to see each other. God, family, and country are great values to have. You will find that you love each other no matter race, color, sex, religion, and age. Our local grocery store will allow families to have a hot dog sale to raise money for cancer treatments, and the community will help them. It is wonderful to live in a small town.

The condescension on the face of the interviewer, she is not a reporter but a political operative in my view, when she tossed out the "Gotcha" question of race, was disgusting. Jason held it together very well and didn't back down as he has nothing to apologize for because the left have no one to blame but themselves for the state of big cities that do nothing about the rampant crime caused by decades of Democrat control. Every race has a small percentage of people that think their race is better than others. That includes black people. You just happen to live in the US that is mostly white, so it may seem like more than it is.

Every country outside the west is ballsout racist. No one gets any flack for it, it’s just normal. In homogeneous societies, it will depend on minor racial differences or accents or class/caste. Bias is human nature. We are a discerning species or we wouldn’t have even survived. They want us to stop being discerning while everyone else gets to be on maximum setting. How cloddish.

When I first heard the song, I looked at it as a reference to the small town that I grew up in. I never looked at racism in it. I have had enough of the racism crap going on in this country. Went to the liquor store today, in my small town, to buy a bottle of wine to take to a dinner I was invited to and the clerk (Viet Nam Vet) was openly packing. We haven't felt the need for that before, but times are unsettled and people are taking precautions. Jason is correct, don't try your foolishness in a small town because even if you can't see it, it's within arms reach.

The people that took offense are the ones who will find something wrong with absolutely everything...

I grew up in a small town of 2,000 people. And it's like the song says. People who have no better argument for anything always fall back on race. Your race has nothing to do with making bad decisions, doing stupid things, your attitude towards other people or ignoring another persons views on a topic. Your brain has everything to do with it. More people should start using them.
