This channel honestly inspired me to train my cat when I got him. I always make him a little something when I cook for myself- when he was a kitten he used to sit on my shoulder while I cooked and now he sits on top of the fridge/freezer or ontop of the cupboards. He’s so curious about everything. He also used to fall asleep watching KZread videos with me and he loves watching these videos with me. I’ll put them on and he’ll jump up, sit on my lap and just watch with me.

Poki has better character development than most Netflix characters.

Culture plays a big role. We westerners highly value making sure we cater to our pets every needs while many eastern cultures tend to focus more on training them and making them more obedient. Not saying either is better/worse but pets of both cultures seem quite happy

Part of it also might be because Jun lets them sniff the ingredients before, and they’re just really calm about the entire thing at this point. Our cat overlords just simply wanna make sure that whatever we’re doing we’re doing it right!

That is something I have done with all my cats I have had. They get a good smell of what I have and then they are satisfied... well..OK... except one. If I had crab, no amount of "just smelling" it would stop his demanding some. I learned to save the crab juice and butter for him. If I walked in the door and said "Kitty Crab" , he'd come running out "meow, meow, meow, meow" of where he was wanting some. (Cats's are not dumb). He had his own bowl of "Kitty Crab" juice when I had crab. I diluted it with 50% water. He would drink that till it was all gone, and look for more. I sure miss that little guy.

Animals and babies need to see lots of new sights and smells to develop more intelligently.

I’m extremely proud of Poki. He’s come such a long way, from being outside and eating roadkill, to being inside and stealing from the trash can, to stealing your cooking ingredients, and finally, sitting down and being patient for a meal, refusing until you give the OK to start eating.

I started doing the same with mine when she was a kitten because of Jun.. Now she insists on inspecting EVERYTHING you're holding, and seems disappointed when you don't let her. But then she's done with it, no begging or anything. I've created a monster.. but a very polite one! Thanks Jun lol 😆
