My older sister is a pretty resourceful cook so I call her when I have questions and sometimes we get a good laugh out of a strange mistake I made. My cooking is super basic but I'm always looking to expand it (in very small baby steps)

@@simonnilsson8375 frying stuff is actually really difficult. My mom is a great cook but when we tried to make donuts for a school project she really struggled with it. Oven stuff is easier than stuff in a pan, I find, because you don't have to watch it so much.

Seriously though, the mushrooms! I can get some of these Japanese ones at my local deli shop, I've tried a couple varieties in cooking and they're excellent! Somehow, they also... look super appetizing..? Also, when he went to the shop with the mushrooms, I honestly thought they were jars with weird mushroom-shaped lids, at first! :'D Never seen a shop like that, before. Also, yes, Haku the nature cat :D I wish I will some day have cat that is interested in walking around with me.

I love Gordon Ramsay but his beef wellington is for his restaurant chains, so it's a recipe and plating that his chefs can easily repeat in a set amount of time for the guests. In fact it was one of the challenges he set the kids in Masterchef Junior - he demonstrated it and they had to go make it the same way. They were kids 8 to 13 years old. I'm not saying they're inept and the recipe is easy, just that Jun's is on another level.

I’ve made this recipe and everyone loved it it was a bit overcooked but it was my first time and the sauce turned out great

That pick-your-own plants/mushrooms garden is so fascinating

This is how I want to live, cats, clean, neat, and good meals.

Rachel wont eat mushroom unless Jun hides them and Rachel doesnt know that she is eating them. Jun picked up a ton of mushroom of all kinds and hid them. 😂

This is so nuts, he manages to train a cat..nay, 3 of them. My cat just refuses to do what I tell him lol, and he is so spoiled too.

this might sound ridiculous but whenever i watch jun’s videos they always make me cry. not because it makes me sad but because i could really tell how much love and effort he gives towards his craft and it’s so admirable. his videos are also very peaceful, and reminds me of the beauty of this world :]

I just adore the fact that Jun *always* makes sure all of his ingredients are cat-approved. Also, I was sick while watching this, and every time I coughed, I was like 'oh no, I coughed on the food!' Then promptly remembered I wasn't there to cough on said food.

dude your cinematography and editing is insane. love the food and cat vids too!

watching jun lowkey makes me feel so peaceful.... the way he talks, the cooking itself, the cats, the atmosphere and the voice it´s so calming and entertaining because you´re learning cooking recipes i love this channel
