how can you tell the difference between true gels and regular gel polish when shopping? and what does it mean when gel polish is a hybrid of gel and polish?

I have question. 🙌🏼 I’m use Japanese gel products for my nail studio too, and I found the Gelish brand base coat is the most stable and match my 95% clients nails, dose Japanese color gel also help natural nail health or only base coat are important? Just the base coat as it is the one making contact.

I have an interesting question, which lasts longer in quantity? Acrylic or gels/ gel polish? Let’s say it’s the same color, size and shape for all 10 nail. How many can a whole bottle of each do(acrylic vs gels/gel polish)?????

what brand you use??

If a salon just uses the clear Japanese soft gel base but then uses a regular gel polish for the color; is that still considered Japanese soft gel? Example: they use a Leafgel base gel and then the rest is done Kiara Sky gel polish and top coat.

I don’t prefer this., once in a while you may really love a color from a gel polish line, and you’ll do this. It just doesn’t wear the same and you may rob the client of the whole experience of using “Japanese Gels”.

Thank you! I had been watching your videos so I knew what to expect. And you're right I do feel bit robbed, mostly just let down. I've gotten thia salon's Japanese gel service several times now.

Can I use the leaf base coat with other brands of polish?

Finally was able to buy more leafgel products since Zillabeau is having their one year anniversary sale
