I attempted to play a prank on a friend back in high school, I'd taking 9 weeks of Japanese back in middle school, definitely nowhere near enough to master the language, and I've forgotten much of it since then, but there are a few things that I remember. We had a foreign exchange student from Japan at the high school, I told my friend to say, "omanko shimashou," to her, hoping that she would slap him, but my prank failed, instead of slapping him she decided to start dating him. She knew it was a prank she knew he didn't know any Japanese that I was the only one who knew any Japanese and that I had to be the one who put him up to saying that phrase.
