ANY Opponent that Underestimates or Disregards Gabbie Marshall, does so at their Peril, and is Doomed To Regret It. She Shoots 3s, she Blocks Shots, She'll snatch the Ball away, in a Heartbeat, and she can do that All Night Long, whenever she needs to. She does have Off Nights(Like Everybody Else), but don't depend on that happening, or you'll be left with your mouth hanging open, & looking Stupid

Gabbie Marshall has continued to excel from last years' victory over S Carolina, when she picked off 3 (maybe 4) passes & disrupted a number of other plays. Her defensive prowess adds a big dimension to this Iowa team.

Huge respect to coach J! She talks about the head coach, the team and their best defensive player (Gabbie) instead of just Caitlin. What a privilege it must be to play for this organisation!

Kate and Syd battle like warriors in the paint and hit clutch shots, the baseline fade-away by Kate as shot clock expired was epic! O'Grady deserves big time respect also, she battled Reese without fear.

She is an unsung hero in this Iowa program! The family and culture is amazing,.

Solid points. I think she's right about how this game went in regards to the game being more about the game. This showed of the best of these two teams on the court and "off the court".

⁠​⁠@@christophermcal.GoHawkssome people are important in other ways besides scoring. Defense wins championships, Offense wins games. Her defense leads to transition baskets and she helps pass the ball around and confuse her opponents. When you have caitlan clark and kate martin, scoring is not a big deal. She is usually the tiniest one on the court and always gets hit with the biggest job of defending the best player on the other team. She is doing perfectly fine with scoring three points.

Imagine Caitlin Clark as the coach of Iowa women’s basketball say, 10+ years from now. Seems like she has the intensity, smarts, motivation, and plain old charisma to someday become the Dan Gable of Iowa women’s basketball. Just a thought…😊

I had that thought about kellie jolly harper at tennessee many years ago. It came to fruition. Unfortunately kellie got fired but I think she is a good coach.

LSU is superior than Iowa if One on one comparison except CC who has made whole team better and her four 3-points in the 3rd quarter is the difference between two teams. CC has elevated herself to a higher level than the last year. She is the GOAT in terms of her record and the achievements of her team.

Last year LSU won convincingly, but the margin was almost entirely due to LSU shooting lights out from beyond the arc. They had more than a dozen extra three-pointers compared to their season average.

Happy for this team! Much deserved. (Okay tho can we not call out the soda pretend drink at the start of this interview, and then a couple random can opening sounds in the background 😅) final four bound..go Hawkeyes!

Imagine what this team could do to South Carolina later, if they had Molly davis? I mean she's a senior leader and she distributes the ball and makes a huge high percentage of all her shots, and is like 84% from the free-throw line. I mean I know LSU had some problems on the bench they don't go very deep and they got run out of the gym there by caitlin, but they're going to need someone like Molly Davis if they're thinking of beating the gamecocks. Somebody was trying to tell me she was ready to come back, but I don't see it at all I've never heard a word about it

Oh, she is in my prayers for her health. Hope she gets well, this is sad to see her like this.

If Reece hadn't injured her ankle, it would have been a much, much closer game. Near the basket, Iowa couldn't stop her. Post injury, Reece played at only 50% effectiveness.
