It's amazing how much she speaks about the directors and everyone who helped her along the way. Her story isn't just her story and she's not afraid to discuss the many players who made her who she is. That's something you often don't see in these career retrospectives. You can tell she has great respect for those she works with and isn't afraid to call that out.

I love that Vanity does these timelines. It's so cool to see the journey of all the actors/actresses. Kudos to Jamie she always aged well to me.

Both Jamie and Lindsay were brilliant in that movie. Jamie's middle-aged-teen made for the laughs, whereas teen-middle-aged Lindsay's character was more understated because that was her role. She was to set up and react to the comedy moments for Jamie, which is pretty rare for a teenage starlet to set the stage for the older woman to shine. They were both brilliant and played well off eachother

Jamie Lee Curtis is such a powerhouse. I loved her in Knives Out; she really sinks her teeth into her roles. :)

she knows so much about all her projects and isn't afraid to share. My hunch is most actors/actresses remember these details but they are scared to admit it.

You can just tell she's in this for the beauty of storytelling and not just for the money like most actors are.

That "My Girl" story was hilarious! I loved her in A Fish Called Wanda, True Lies, Knives Out, Freaky Friday, and everything she's done. She has a great attitude towards the business, is really funny, and has some of the most underrated, iconic modern looks of women in film.

This lady elevates 1,000% anything she's in. That's how amazing she is. *Respects* .

She's right about period pieces. It feels like most of them are like assault on the senses to see exactly the time period when most of them don't matter.

My daughters favorite book growing up was "Tell Me Again About The Night I Was Born ". It's about adoption and even though my daughter isn't adopted she loved this book as well as the giving tree..Jamie Lee Curtis wrote the book about adoption and it was wonderful. She is so talented just all the way around a wonderful woman and role model ...I love that she's a vulgarian..I am too

When Lindsay Lohan was playing guitar and singing, she is a professional so she didn't fake it. I heard once that Jamie had to learn to play guitar. The scene where Jamie lip-synced in that part I LOVED it.

Knives out was probably one of the best movies I've seen in the last 10 years.

Freaky Friday is my childhood!! She is such a legend, her longevity is incredible!

Banana Rama yeah. Same. Star Wars and metal music and comics made me the man I am today. I got two lightsabers tattooed on my left wrist so I love me my Star Wars. That being said, I never let like strong reactions dictate how I feel toward someone. Like I had fun with solo but I know tons didn’t and I’m ok with that. Because there are bigger issues in life to be angry about than a movie. Especially since you have other Star Wars movies that fall to your liking if you wish. I admit when the last Jedi reactions came out and hearing everyone bully each other, I felt a bit embarrassed to be a Star Wars fan. This is is Star Wars. A franchise about embracing your inner child.

Jamie Lee Curtis is absolutely the "cherry on top" in Knives out.

Jamie Lee Curtis is amazing in anything that she's in! She's come a long way in her illustrious career, and to see her receive the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once" was the crowning achievement.

I wonder if JLC realizes how many parents she influenced when she improvised “Make good choices!!” - my mom and one of her old friends yelled that out the window at us for years growing up, and I plan on doing it to whatever lil hellions I birth someday

fast foward to 2022, she was in Everything Everywhere All at Once cast, a weird sci-fi movie with hot dog fingers that earned her first Oscars winner of Best Supporting Actress. She came along way and still humble, supportive and grounded. proud of her

Jamie is so magnetic. I can’t stop listening to her. She is so smart and prepared.

I love that she mentions so many people on who worked with the projects & how she got the roles & who knew who etc. just shows what kind of person she is.

Knives Out is a TREAT to watch. The rich colors, gorgeous sets, the beautiful way the camera moves in the space. It really transports you somewhere else while watching.

i love that movie lol is a bit silly but light and fun to watch at christmas time

She never hides her intelligence to fit into any bubble. And that's why I love her.

Gutted they didn't go into Scream Queens! What a career! And for someone who said no more horrors, she's done a great amount of horrors - some genres just suit certain people ❤️

They didn't even mention when Jamie Lee Curtis played in the show Scream Queens.

Freaky Friday was what made me a fan of Jamie Lee Curtis when I was a kid. But I also had no idea many years later that I found out she has really famous parents Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh.

I always liked Jamie Lee Curtis. She’s such a talented, funny and down-to-earth woman. You’d have to be Michael Myers-crazy not to like her. She’s such a versatile performer and always brings 100% to every role she does whether if it’s horror, drama, comedy or action.

I think Vanity Fair cuts out some segments. For certain actors they should really consider extending the episode up to 28min. Granted, 24min is still one of their longest episodes.
