I agree, knowing that James Charle talked about disrespecting straight guy sexuality, but I also agree with the more meta issue of stereotyping gay people as predator. Yup. That's exactly what I was thinking. He keeps using social media as a shopping app to find a date, then feels entitled to get the response he wants. He really needs to get some actual therapy to find out why he debases himself this way. When he's not making other men feel uncomfortable, he's putting himself in a bad position where he's going to attract a predator who will be more than happy to take him up on the offer of free travel, living in a mansion and all the other perks. I don’t believe in “cancel culture” but I do think deplatforming or just straight up ignoring people is the best way to handle the situations when they refuse to take genuine accountability. Imagine if people just mass ignored them and everyone was like “oh yeah I don’t like him because he’s a predator!” Why is that so hard. People like James, Tana, and David Dobrick who repeatedly have to apologize for the same things just need to be recycled for something better/new. James didn't do anything wrong here, previously, sure he deserved the hate and criticism because what he was doing was the worst. However, this time around, he didn't do anything to warrant being ignored or deplatformed. He flexed his wealth, okay, morally, that's iffy, but it isn't egregious. Life isn't like that. James has enough money to last multiple lifetimes. Money isn't an issue, nor will it ever be. I'm not sure how old you are, but most people want a partner to share their lives with, as far as I can tell, James has never had a long-term relationship with anyone, and anyone he does try to date seem to end up using his name for clout. The previous stuff being shown was fine because James was in the wrong. But with this he had no right to post private messages, he clearly wasn't interested and yet farmed James knowing he was going to post it. It clearly shows that James just keeps seeking out the wrong type of person. His desperation is clouding his judgement, but unfortunately, his wealth only seems to attract the leeches and clout chasers. Its sad really, but also James keeps going after either very young men or straight men.. and he wonders why he can't find a partner

Instead of using his influence for good, James takes his privileges and uses them only for his selfish needs. He’s not only hurting the young men he targets but by proxy, hurts his community by giving homophobic people a false way to “justify” their hate. I have also been in a similar situation as far as staying in the closet to keep myself safe from the ignorant people in my family. Yeahhhh I have mixed feelings about it now because a lot of the time it feels like they're just baiting him. Even before, the people who were lying about their age just to talk to him is... extremely weird. Like don't get me wrong, James def should be taking the age thing more seriously as a public figure, but it's also extremely grotesque that minors are lying their way into his DMs for clout.
