Pavarotti put on a concert yearly in his hometown of Modena Italy for the children of wars. Artists couldnt wait to sing with him. Watch the duet he sang with Celine Dion "I love you, then I hate you". You have now fallen into the Pavarotti rabbit hole. There are 4 decades of his beautiful music. Enjoy!!

yes. I loved the duet with Celine as well.
Yep! He is singing It's A Man's World. His duets are so damn good and so good for music on the whole! He and his duet partners introduced soooo many to opera and had a blast doing it. Respect! Thank you, Rad!!!!🤗

“Man runs after power but He doesn’t know The great limitations he places upon himself [?]In his fist (selfishly) he keeps an idea An idea that is alive Only in his fantasy; (still) he runs… Refrain: And he doesn’t see that All this makes no sense If you live all by yourself” (or only for yourself)
So great. He had a whole series of duets with unexpected artists. HE also did one with Tracy Chapman that was really sweet. I love how he holds respect for all artists.
Ah punaise... Pavarotti avec Brown ---Brown avec Pavarotti ! Génial ! Merci ! 🥰
The three Tenors singing O sol a meo is outstanding
Saw James Brown on Sep 17, 2001 in Telluride, CO., one week after 9/11 attack. Due to all kinds of airline restrictions he arrived almost 3 hours late, nobody left, he was incredible. One of my top 3 concert experiences.
Pavarotti's verse translated: Man runs the power but doesn't know great limits has to be how it will be done In his palm he holds an idea that doesn't live in his imagination… he wanted If you don't notice that then nothing makes sense if you live only for yourself
You need to check out Pavarotti and Friends concerts. He sings with Barry white and many other artists
Che meraviglia! Saluti da Milano Italia
Just amazing, now the woman who I would like to heard JHUD, Jennifer Hudson and these 2 IRONIC Legendary performers Pavarotti and James Brown to add JHUD, a woman who has contributed to our musical humanitarian effort to become something great in her own right, let give it a try to THIS IS A Man's World, do a remix with her rendition, 3 soulful souls blended performance would soar and not be a wishful thinking that would be lost in the wilderness of what more possibilities can we discover!
I love your reaction and comment. LUCIANO, the 'c' like 'chain' in english.
Fabulous 💥💥💥
I felt exactly the same way.
Yes, that one was cool! Too bad James didn't add any dance moves. ;-) I really admire Pavarotti for doing these duets with greats outside of the opera world. Check out the one with Brian May. Also excellent.

James Brown: "I feel good!" Me: "We all do!" :D
I saw the translation once, basically, he is singing "what is a man's life without love"
One of the greatest things ever posted on KZread
And the translation goes: “The man persecutes the power, but he doesn’t know That the great limit against himself, will appear In the hand, it tightens an idea That doesn’t live, that in his fantasy it wished, That if he doesn’t remember that later, nothing else has sense If he lives only for himself Nothing else has sense If he lives only for himself” Also, James changed the lyrics for this performance. He changed “You know that man makes money, to buy from other man,” to “Man makes liras, pesos, dollars, rupees, to buy from every good woman and every good man.” One of the most powerful duets ever!
Powerful 🙌🏽

I have shared this often as one of my favorites. Mmmmm
Reminder set!!
Freddy Mercury and Luciano Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma. It will blow your mind. There are no Words for it.

closest we have to that is Macro doing that on one of his videos.
No... Pavarotti's lyrics are not a translation of James Browns words... they are words (like a story) that go alongside the song. (Turn your captions on) then google translate the words. A... meaningful lesson... just like how it sounds (deep).
You can combine your rabbit holes! Pavarotti with Queen (Brian and Roger) on "Too Much Love Will Kill You." kzread.info/dash/bejne/dWt6qbKCgq3eZqw.html
Good spot Rad. Definitely one not to miss and great to see you bringing it to more people. I'd also have loved to see him duet with Angelina Jordan - her version (at 12 years old!) is one of the most powerful I've ever heard, apart from Pavarotti of course! And see how relaxed she is doing it! Here it is kzread.info/dash/bejne/enmhmdaAos2ve84.html
for the people who mine the music my sincere omedeto🍸
Set my reminder! I just KNEW you would love this one!!😉

Chris Stapleton does a great cover of this.
It's not a word for word translation, the verses are available to you, so do some research.
