James Brown is the Godfather of soul music...you should see him perform when he was in him prime.

@Trevon Womack No, sorry. I know he will often so named, but in fact the really godfather of soul is Otis Redding - or Sam Cook or maybe Marvin Gay ... (in my opinion).

This was history of two legendary artists. Coming together would completely genre complimenting each other. Music and singers like this is what makes the world go round... thank God for videos like this because many people including me would never have seen this greatness... R.I.P TO THE BOTH OF THEM.

James Brown is a legend in American Rddim and Blues and Soul music. At the end of the video when James Brown said "I feel good!" This is a quote from his best known song. And on a different note Pavarotti would invite well known singers from many types of music to sing with him and all the money from those concerts would go to charities.
