i use mine on a bushwhacker, its mint.
Wouldn't you need to adjust the distance to get it accurate, i.e for spombing you need to take off 1ft in every 4ft of water, so with your lead, rigs etc you need to add 1ft in every 4 to get the spot?

The right side of your screen is always where the sonar is passing at that moment in time. The left is what it has already passed over! 👍🏻

I attach mine with a wire trace if pike are present. There are tales of them attacking Deepers like lures.

I can confirm that. My Deeper has the scratches from pikes teeth.
