The reason for this is because the Deeper Chirp 2 is not available in all countries yet. So when the chirp 2 becomes available in the country, it will appear online

You didn’t mention anything about it’s fish finding accuracy. I hear not very good

hi, great video. I liked your chirp+ review as well and wondered if you could tell me the difference between the chirp+ and pro+2. in the UK I can buy the chirp+ for a fair bit less than pro+2. what would you choose between them? cheers, keep up the good work, Bill.

That's a tough one. They are both good devices. The software on the pro+2 is smoother to run and the battery life is better. The target separation on the chirp+ is better than the pro plus but it's up to you and what works better for your budget and what you want out of the device

So for mapping the plus2 will do it while casting(built in GPS) and the chirp plus will only map while trolling in smallcraft(phone GPS)?

It will do the mapping any time that it uses any GPS. So if it's in boat mode or onshore mode, it will make bathemetric maps automatically

How do you read that map on the phone - when you see a fish in the center of the screen , does that mean it's directly below the deeper?

The bathemetric map is basically read by different colours means different depths. And the fish is within the cone under the Deeper but only in the moment while the Deeper is drawing the fish.

In your country, what does the Deeper +, Chirp+, and Chirp+ Two cost? Wondering as these are not available in some countries yet so no pricing. Thanks.

The chipr 2 + has a GPS in it and the chirp 2 does not have a gps built in

@@fuairushan1773 I often cast it with my 20lb but I'd say 30lb shock leader and up will give you plenty confidence when casting.

If I missed this info in the video, I apologize. What is the scanning radius, from the center of the unit? Am I gonna have to recast several times in the area I'm fishing, to find fish?

It depends on the cone angle that you set the Deeper to search and the distance the deeper is from the bottom.

I don't think that the Deeper is like a speed boat transducer where you can steem on and pick up structure. So I think up to 10km/h it would be fine as long as it has a secure fixing and is pointing down throughout

It might be that the Chirp 2 isn't available in your country yet. Some countries are a bit strict with cashable GPS sonar devices.

No plus means no GPS so no location to reference from. I think in boat mode, the Deeper will use the GPS on your phone.

Can you test your deeper in a clean pool. My friend dit and it showed alot of fish hahaha

The hard concrete walls and small size of a pool reverberate too much for a deeper to be of any use.

My i 13 phone has a built in GPS. Will I still need to by a Deeper with GPS to get proper mapping or will my phone provide that function?

I always recommend the one with GPS otherwise you are limited to only getting maps when you are in boat mode and ie meaning when your phone is on the water with the deeper

Why can it be misleading to use the fish icons?

It's because the deepers are programmed to put any Arch as a fish but some objects read as an Arch but are not a fish. Rather learn how to read what the sonar is telling you and then you will know what is a fish or a rock or a log.

the chirp+ 2 does not exist. the model chirp 2 is real tho.

It definitely does exist. I use one! Ha ha some countries don't allow it because of the tech inside them so it might not exist in your country but it definitely does in mine.

There are certain permits and regulations that have to be approved before dealers can bring tech into a country. So maybe they came into a roadblock or somethinf

A better video would be actually using it, instead of telling us about it and showing us you actually catching fish !
