I’ve never thought that a bass rig rundown could take more than 10 minutes. I’ve also never thought that it could blow my mind completely. Well done.

I'm still waiting to hear anything that sounds even remotely like a bass.
The creativity is just stunning. Not that I am surprised Dan surrounds himself with imaginative people, or that they want to work with him, but this has been simply eye-(and ear- and mind-) opening. Pretty sure I’m going to consult this video several more times to try some stuff on my board… Thank you Dan, Jake, Joe and the whole Gigrig team!
Love the And So I Watch You From Afar shoutout, I'll have to check out All Ears Avow
I feel like you could have a TPS VCQ on these guys and their boards and it might be the longest VCQ to date. Epic boards and extremely creative. Bravo, gents. My upvote for a these guys to come play at TPS studio with Dan, Mick, and Patty.
comment section fills me with so much happiness! glad the genius of my friends is finally getting some attention from a wider audience!

Jake's G3/Kemper combo is off the scale clever. I feel like a dinosaur with my 3 gain stages, chorus, delay & verb! 😆 Both these rig rundowns really make me want to check out their bands 😎

Jake & Joe have each been so helpful showing how to get the best out of GigRIg equipment, now I see I have been severely under-appreciating what can be done with the G3. Really appreciate seeing how these two G3-uber users put their rigs together - thanks guys
The cab on stage is also great fan service for anyone right in front of the stage. I’ve seen multiple bands just run straight to front of house and have been barely able to hear the guitar over the drums in front of me. Awesome and inspiring boards, thanks for sharing!

Exactly man - I didnt say this in the video but we always say this. The weight of the Guitar coming from the back of stage needs to be there!
GigRig Rundown! Great to see how people are using the technology creatively.
Have exchanged a few emails with Joe, and think he did a signal path diagram for me back in the lockdown days, when I was building my first Gigrig powered board - top guy. But oh my word! Joe's rig rundown was A-MAZING! Properly inventive, creative and inspiring. Dan's giddy disbelief & joy at his various leaps of logic "this led me to think of THIS" 😅), was truly great to watch. Bravo 👏 👏
Cheers, Dan! Incredible work! 👏🏻👍🏻
If Joe shows up to function band gigs with that rig and those sounds I'm going to get divorced and get married again so I can book that band. "Come on Nan let's have a dance" BWAAAAAARRRRRRRR. Absolutely love it guys x

I want a KZread series by these guys.
That was awesome. How about a G3 owners day where we can come to gigrig HQ and learn more about how to set up our boards with the G3. Might be fun.

@@TheGigRigDaniel I’m still waiting for my G3, hopefully not long now but I’m intrigued by what your team would do with my set up.
Great video! Thanks for doing it Dan! Good to to faces (and equally importantly, boards) to the guys who have been such great help from Gigrig. Legends!
Just when I thought I was done buying pedals… Nice job mate
Wow. Simply awesome. Two guys showing what's possible with a GR3 and a few choice pedals. Thanks.

Such an awesome band 👍
Early 2017 I spent a couple of hours with Joe to help set up my G2 bass board. Early in the session I asked him how does he set up his G2, and he said something like “I don’t have one, I use a QMX. My mind would just come up with too many permutations (for routing & stuff) it would just be overwhelming.” I now understand what he meant. Joe Bishop, your a genius. See you when I get my G3.😊
I’ve only just realized that Jake from the GigRig is also Jake who sat next to me in MusicTech in College, and Dan is that crazy guy that brought in that Telecaster with the synth pickup! Awesome rig Jake mate, good to see you are doing well 👍

Thanks Alex, those lectures we’re fun!
These are my board fixing guys!! Amazing guys
In the 90’s I had a Boss SE-70 and used an expression pedal to do the “quick on/off sampler-stutter” effect. Pedal down=sample start, pedal up=sample end. I find it funny, some odd years later that folks have “discovered” the same effect.
Mind blown! As a bog standard overdrive, delay, modulation guy, I know I am easily impressed, but this is next level stuff, in my opinion. This has inspired me to explore some of the other sounds my gear can produce. I don't think I'll be going down the M1D1 route anytime soon, but I'm interested to see what else I can do. Thanks lads!
Very cool setups and fabulous sounds, guys! And, unsurprisingly, a great advert for G3/Atom :D ... no questions yet, but very inspiring. Links to videos of your bands work would be great too.

My brain isn’t wrinkled enough for the zoya
Awesome bass rig joe from a fellow bass player here in NEW ZEALAND I have a huge bass rig also using boss switcher and boss pedals digital and analog pedals
Block Party also does that Boss pitch up and down
Joe killing it! that rig is killer! normal to insane in a few presets! my kinda bassist!
Cool video! Thank you Daniel and guys! I don't understand does the Atom have a color display?

Sure does 👍
I recommend the malekko downer with expression control to do a lot of what you're doing with several pedals (the bass guy)
Great setups! That use of the Zoia is so inspired! BTW, the link in the description is broken.
Dan you look like your head is blown! :) Joe you need to quiz Dan on your setup and we want to see the results! Thanks for the thinking out of the box with the G3, video is great. Thanks!

It’s a really clever approach, the cross sweeping filters etc, really fantastic
That was maybe the coolest bass rig I've ever seen. Side chain compression on a pedal board! How do you setup for a gig with that rig? I always find that I have to make loads of adjustments to suit the room I'm playing in. These rigs are so complex that I doubt I could make all of the tweaks needed for a show.
Cool

@@TheGigRigDaniel Great minds eh
Why didn’t you just buy a keyboard? You can get much cooler sounds at a touch of a finger then what you’re spending all that money on with your pedalboard??? A little corny in my opinion.
