💧 Simple once you know how. Another car where there had been prior attempts to locate and fix the leak which failed, so they brought the car to us.
We traced the source of the leak to a grommet behind the front wings, which, once found, was easy enough to fix. Cars like this luxury Jaguar have very thick carpet underlay, and once wet, there is no way it will dry on its own, so the car needed to be thoroughly dried, and decontaminated as rain water contains all kinds of trace elements and organic debris which is ample food for bacteria and mould.

A: We don't know. That's why we do a diagnostic inspection. We cannot answer the question of how much it costs to fix before we know the extent of the problem. Prices for our inspection and hourly rates can be found on our website.

A: This isn't a DIY channel, we are sharing videos we take for the customer as part of our inspection process. Furthermore, the vast majority of the fixes are simple, and if you need to ask how to fix them, you probably should let a professional deal with it. See below:

⚡ Electricity and water is a dangerous combination. This is especially the case with electric and hybrid cars, but most modern cars have electronic control units in areas which are prone to water ingress. These are easily damaged and can be expensive to replace.
💥 Areas that need to be accessed to fix water leaks may contain airbags. These are explosive and can be quite sensitive. Tampering with them could lead to serious injury.
☣️ Cars that have been damp for a prolonged period often contain mould, mildew and dangerous bacteria. Mould spores can seriously affect the health of people with asthma, the old, very young, and people with compromised immune systems. Mould should always be taken seriously.
