Haha, amazing!

Fantastic Ash, thanks so much. Unfortunately from the water ingress it shorted out a loom in the underfloor area in the boot which nearly caught fire. Still don't know why the fuses didn't blow though. Got to replace these looms now as well as clearing "Battery not charging" warning and "Vehicle too low" warning which both only appeared when there was a smell of burning coming from the back of the car.😱

Had the same issue with my old XF too. Took me a long time to find the issue. Thankfully new vents are inexpensive, but I ended up just running some sealent round the edges and the problem was solved 🙂

Great minds think alike!

I have the same car same colour 0n a 64 plate my problem was wet floors on the passenger side found out it was leaf debri blocking the drain vents under the front scuttle plate ,I put the power washer down the scuttle drains and blew it right through until the water ran out under the wheel are covers seems to have stopped now but it blew the bluetooth module which jag thought was a great place to put under the passenger side carpet .

A very informative video. Thank you. Did the rear light clusters really need to come out twice in order to do the job though? 🤔 I've got exactly the same problem on mine and I think that I'll be putting a bit of silicon behind the top edge of that plastic cover - the one which is held in place by the the 2 torx screws, so that less water runs in behind the lights and less algae accumulates at that position in the rain trough.

You're very welcome 😊 I'd be careful doing that as the water might run somewhere else that you don't want it to go, it's supposed to go behind that bit of plastic I think.

Ash, after seeing that exhaust back box if you were interested in doing the dual exit conversion on it and giving it the ‘S’ look I have a pair of facelift back boxes that I removed from my XF, they’re both in good condition - you’d just have to go to an exhaust place to make a Y piece, let me know mate

Got to agree about the music, do us all a favour and either change it for something less self pitying or turn it down. I listen on headphones and the whining and needle sharp guitar gave me a headache. Apart from that another tip top, lets build the Spit in the shed video!
