Ikr? I think it’s b/c there’s still a lot of ppl who underestimate him b/c they still see him as the funny guy from Got7 or just see him as the guy that goes viral for being a gentleman. Whatever it is, they’re missing out on a true artist who’s way ahead of the pack.

What you see today in the music industry is artists and companies chasing after numbers. No of streams, number of album sales, number of mv views... Jackson has stopped caring about numbers. We rarely see ads and good promotions by him. That is probably why we feel he is underrated. He just makes music for the people love his music. His music and his work in general doesnt feel 'forced' to me. But at the same time I do hope Jackson would get the recognition he deserves.

BLOW: That was the very first song from this album I heard. I couldn't stop playing it... true story... my step dad used to tell me... you ready? "Don't blow smoke up my ass!". I Always had to be honest, even when I tried to lie. That's why I'm glued to this song.

I discovered this man last week. I don’t listen to K pop, Im more into classical soul and hip hop. But somehow I came across 100 ways and Cruel, and I came to respect this artist. I’ve been listening to the albums and this song, along with Blue and Cruel are my favorites. Glad he made a video. I hope to see him live one day. I haven’t been excited about a new artist in a longggg time. I know he’s not new, but he’s brand new to me. Big big respect, hope to see him live here in America one day.
