same, I just came to rewatch this for the millionth time after seeing what he said in a recent interview about the black and white scenes being filmed during his manic low (I did not know this for whatever reason) and somehow I was able to see it with a completely new and fresh perspective just by knowing this, like I swear I've seen this same video a thousand times before but this time it felt different

*This is one of the best DPR VISUALS + IAN masterpieces I have ever heard. From his voice, thunder/Lightning, distorted guitar, high pitch mic, violins, maybe cello, the whistle killed me, percussion, the pause with the high/low register, “Your So Beautiful,” piano, whatever that 2nd beat was just did me in, dang those horns and of course the production visuals and Ian. I’ve listened to it like close to a thousand times the first time this song came out and I heard it. I just couldn’t get over the different sounds excellent job Ian. YOUR SO BEAUTIFUL 😎*

This song is so Christian lol. Back in the days when he shared a lot of the songs that he listen to + his music choices for the c-clown CTC series and just his ig 15s videos, man this song definitely brings back the vibes that he vibed with. I wonder if the demeanor of Mito is so much more fluid because he doesn’t carry the same anxiety/concerns of presenting properly that Ian himself does. Even in scenes of looking at his hands, Ian looks concerned/curious, but when Mito is presenting, it’s somehow…pride? All of this could be suggestive observations though, with the information from Ian’s recent interview, so I may not be seeing what I think I am.

Ian never disappoints.

I can rewatch the music videos thousands of times, it doesn't change how interesting and full of detail each music video is. It scares me how each music video never bores me. A bit random, but the intro bit with the distorted guitar(?) is candy to my ears.

@@Annnabannanna Yeah normally I'd never talk about something like music videos. Like who cares about those?? But when it comes to DPR I'm obsessed through and through. If you could name another artist that has good videos AND good music though I'd love to know cause I only like Ian's so far. This and No Blueberries, PB&T are personally my favorites. Tbh yeah I can't pick only those I love the others too Nerves is what got me into all this and I Just Danced is so amazing as well 😫 He's so cute in Bad Cold and pretty in Violet Crazy okay I'm done now 😭

@unravel9716 omgomg me tooooo!!!! Before nerves, I had bever been into darker stuff. I've always been like a pastel colour girlie, etc.. and then I fell into a dark place, and I somehow discovered nerves, through "boom" and then "yellow cab". Then fell into the rabbit hole. Ian's vision is just really unique, and it drew me in. I was a bit shocked, but in a good way when i saw nerves for the first time. But the song was so good. And then somehow i guess i got intrigued by the darkness of the video, and then so beautiful. It's ironic how i went from being scared of the mito in the music videos, to now being so fascinated. And i also ended up getting tickets to see dpr regime tour. Which is unlike me. I don't usually pay for concerts unless i really want to go. And this was my second ever concert. I literally was soo shocked I got tickets since i got them kinda late, and they sold out right after i got mine. Then comes the concert, I can't see the stage and the front bit right behind vip was suffocating, so I asked security to go to the balcony where the disability area was. Next thing you know, when zombie pop was playing, and we were waiting for them to come out, I see a guard behind in a suit. And i kept turning around for like 5 mins wondering why security was here. And then i was like, It's a fan, because security was wearing the highlighter coloured vests. And I thought this fan was cosplaying. And I was gonna tell the fan that their makeup was really good, and that they looked just like ian. Then i chickened out. And i went back to my friend and bopped to zombie pop. And then my friend taps me. And i didn't get why she was. So I just said, how omg, i hear ian, maybe he's behind the stage. And I say, i dunno. Since i can hear him but it was weird. And i turn around because she pulls my leg a bit. And it turn around, and literally right behind me, like directly behind me was ian :0 And i was just frozen. I didn't get to say anything other than "omg, I was so shook" and I wanted to ask how lori was, but my friend kinda kept taking videos with him. And then others found out, and basically chased him and i just quickly went for a photo when everyone else was kinda done. Damn, if only i clocked before, i was so shook. Lowkey mad at my friend tho, her hand was all up in my photo cis she was trynna take a photo, after she already had one. Holding a grudge ngl. Anyways, did I go into a spiral with this reply. Omg, you probably wont even get down here. Flipping hell. I literally just said my whole life story to a stranger on youtube comments of DPR Ian's so beautiful MV. I need to get tested for neurodivergency. Anywaysss, sorry for whatever this monstrosity was, I'm not even supposed to be on my phone rn got exams to be revising for. Fml, anyways, yh.

I am not one to complain when I literally have a serious problem with oversharing myself 😭 (which yours isn't btw, it's all related to our love for dpr in the end lmao). So yeah really it's understandable sometimes you just got things to say so you do it. Now I don't know what to say other than the fact that I relate so hard omg. And that concert sure is an experience. Your friend's lucky asf cause I'd be frozen right then and there too. I wonder how she survived?? But seriously that's so cool. I literally never was into what Ian apparently calls the dark aesthetic too. Plus just wasn't really my kind of music. Even just all the intimidating tattoo stuff you know I never imagined I'd be so into honestly. Growing up I genuinely was a kid battling mental health issues but I was never drawn to this stuff - maybe to sad but not dark if you get what I mean. I also posted a comment on this video today, on how seeing mito made me uneasy at first. I fell into this rabbit hole just 2 months ago and it's crazy on how much his music has been ruling my life haha. I can't wait for the skins, limbo audio and maybe a new surprise song to drop on streaming platforms next week. And ofc the rest of the unreleased songs coming this year. The ones he's spoiled a bit are already set on repeat. I'm so excited 🫠❤️‍🔥 Anyway I should in fact be studying too. It's midnight here and I got a statistics quiz tomorrow. Good luck we got this 🤞

DPR is so underrated. Everything they do is of high calibre. This was an accidental find on spotify for me. i listened to this song on repeat for a 10km run and was in a complete trance, i did not feel time. Came to see the MV, and i am so happy it did not disappoint, the cinematography is artful, every frame seems thoughtful.
