@@Pandcake123 of course credit goes to everyone involved, but I was referring to the fact that Jackson always comes up with the concepts for his MVs, and he co-directs and writes the scripts for his MVs as well (he even directs some of them just by himself). Jackson has co-directed with Daniel before, and they work so well together, Daniel can perfectly execute Jackson's ideas. His MVs that Daniel was involved in are some of my favourites

Yes! I remember him talking about how everything was so tricky and spontaneous since shooting was so short and the smoke powder was limited. Jackson may be brilliant for producing it, but everybody was great in making his vision work. If they weren't be able to keep up, the end product wouldn't have been great!

I dare say this is one of the best MVs of this century. It's obviously inspired by Michael Jackson's 'Smooth Criminal' (and pays homage to it at 1:58), and yet it's completely original. They've made the concept into something entirely new and remake. This music video is INCREDIBLE.

The precision of the choreography is as good as if not better than any of the song and dance number’s from The Greatest Showman ( the movie) The music is dynamic and the timing could not be more perfect and while Jackson Wang’s performance was amazing. I think the real standouts are all the other dancers who made this as much a reality as he did Whoever was the costume designer for this piece was a genius

Good Morning Handsome Man Jackson Wang MAGIC MAN

I can’t lie, this is is probably one of the best music videos I’ve seen in a while. I can appreciate heavy CGI and overproduction, but this felt like a breath of fresh air. This had some crazy editing tricks nothing that wasn’t practical and sped up/tinkered with in post which is amazing to see now. I think Big CGI snakes and robot cameras have their place but I’d like to start seeing more highly choreographed theatrical things like this with choreography that’s meant to be done by dancers, not just the kind of kpop choreo that’s meant to be done while singing. This reminded me of Moulin rouge and as a theatre kid, that’s really cool!

new obsession unlocked :)) i mean, the style of this man, legend.. wow.

For me, the best part in Blow are the cinematic frames... so American style, not only for the actors/dancers but for this idea of a Broadway musical. I like the costumes and effectively all the guys seem true models... really photogenic. But Jacks' visuals in this MV are 100 overload. And that grey hair, so 2022 style... Hollywood style. Of course his voice too is pleasant and surprising. I love it. Unfortunately... sorry to tell, but being absolutely against smoking, I still need time to understand better the lyrics. But anyway, Jacks is still my favourite artist of the last years and also my nr 1 MVs director of all times.

Yes, the song and MV are amazing. Let me try to explain the lyrics: He is using cigarettes as a metaphor for a toxic relationship. We all know cigarettes are bad for us, but if we're addicted to them, we can't quit even if we know they're bad for us - that's what he feels like being with this girl. He knows the girl is bad for him (toxic), but he can't leave her - one line goes "you pull me back every time I quit". Jackson doesn't smoke, so he is definitely not encouraging smoking. I'm against smoking too

I'm in shock with everything especially the choreography and all the different and perfect atmosphere, This song is definitely going on my playlist.

This looks like a scene from a movie that someone put music over, the quality and the interpretation from both him and the dancers is so overwhelming, it felt too short but honestly I could had go on for 4 hours and I still would have want more, great job Jackson and TeamWang

It's not just the artistry of the M/V and the choreography, it's also the song in itself, the way Jackson emphasises every line, giving it the right amount of edge, the raw (yet elegant) sexiness the video conveys and his attitude, that little eyebrow raise, the "rock and roll meets burlesque" mix that gives a spectacular result. Jackson is THE Show Man. And Magic Man is the perfect title for his album. I cannot wait to see more. Bravo, Jackson!
