I doubt it. Roddick was never that good at the net and there are no big serves in Pickleball. Jack was playing with the best women's player by far and still dropped the first game before he started running around his backhand. Allyce and Riley's strategy of going at Jack only works if they could make Jack hit backhands, especially dinks, and keep the ball down. They could not do it after the first game and Jack's forehand just wore out Allyce. Jack is a great doubles tennis player and he has a great forehand. It's unclear if he can hide his backhand enough in Pickleball to be the best.

Proves the game kinda is still in its infancy with little competition and little maximized techniques. Pro players from other sports have practiced their game at such a higher level that they can easily cross-over. I take it in a generation or so, if the game stays popular (US only I guess, rest of the world plays the superior Padel by that time), cross-overs will be harder.

Sock is more built for PB than tennis. How he made the ATP your finals one year and broke the top 10 a mystery. He dropped like a rock after but still no BH and very briefly cracked the top 10 is impressive. He could play doubles though. He couldn’t stay away from Chipotle though but that isn’t a problem on the PB tour. He doesn’t have to be in shape to do well at PB.
