LOL. "Why is he wearing those purple robes? Is he some part of a cult?" Umm... that's the standard dress uniform for prosecutors in The Hague. Interestingly, I don't recall him criticizing British barristers for wearing wigs during court as part of their dress uniform to this day.

Why can't the world have leaders with these qualities

Who would have thought that fresh faced young prosecutor in 2011, would now be the saviour and superhero of US democracy? The hour has certainly brought forth the man. When this is all over (hopefully in my lifetime), I hope we see more of that smile, Mr Smith. I wouldn't have your job for the world, the sheer complexity of the cases, the obstruction, the pressure to come to trial before the 2024 election, the abuse and death threats to you and your family, but I hope we'll see that smile again, when you've slain the dragon.

@@richardstewart6900 Lose it, and justice will be served: As far as I can make out most, if not all, of these charges against Trump are contrived and flimsy, and could even be considered election interference - look at the timing. (I doubt if you'll be voting for Trump in 2024, but if he doesn't win, we'll get Biden again.)

lol, you do realize that the US has not been democracy for a long time right? And these lawsuits are proof of this. It has nothing to do with bringing justice, it's about suppressing an6 opposition to the machine. If it had anything to do with justice, we would be doing this same thing to every single president since Kennedy. If we cared about democracy, we would strip every politician from power as well as the FBI and CIA, end the corruption and restore true democracy. Trump may not be any different, but atleast he was transparent about his corruption.

We need a Supreme Court with this kind of integrity and a house that has this kind of integrity and Congress as well as President.
