The planned duration of the trials (March 2020-September 2022) seems rather long to me for an existing set of medications. When one considers that newly developed medications for the virus had been able to have clinical trials complete in less time.

It's because they want complete and randomised data to ensure there is a genuine positive response to a drug which was originally intended for other purposes. Covid vaccines are designed exclusively to help your bodies generate antibodies against Covid-19. These two things are not directly comparable at all. Additionally, governments were flushing the research with cash, which meant they could afford to run most of the trial phases in parallel. So, no, nothing weird here.

I think you may be confusing when results come out with duration of the trial. There is typically a followup period after some results are published. I am sure the vaccine studies are still collecting data. For instance, I am participating in a study of Covid Vaccines in at-risk populations. Results have been published, but I am still getting my antibodies for the study measured every 6 months. It will continue for another year or two. In fact, I am also participating in an unrelated study that will end collecting data this year. It started in 1972. Whole careers have come and gone since :).

My husband and I got a prescription filled early on to have on hand, just in case, right before they stopped filling it at the local pharmacies. We also followed the FLCCC preventative since it started. We started vitamin D early on in 2020. At Christmas, we visited our in-laws who were boosted. They were sick but didn’t think it was Covid, so didn’t tell us until we arrived. We did stay with them anyways. She tested positive a few days later. We got back home and waited. The only symptom we had was a fever for two days and a few days of kind of feeling off. We took the IVM the day the fever kicked in. I also nebulize and rinsed with iodine. The combination pulled us through quickly, basically everything listed on the FLCCC site. I would have still been Covid free if i didn’t unknowingly visit someone with Covid.I stayed with them throughout the holidays but because they were boosted and refuse to believe they had Covid only weeks after getting a third shot, I got fully exposed with not much ventilation for days on in. It was so unnecessary. Yeah I’m salty about it. I was very happy to have had the IVM on hand.

This is my personal experience with Ivermectin. I got Delta last year and was put on antibiotics and prednisone but symptoms (vise-like pressure around my heart and couldn’t breathe) were so severe I was about to go to the ER. Thankfully, my doctor prescribed Ivermectin and within 24 hours of the first dose, my symptoms were reduced to a tolerable level. Did Ivermectin magically make symptoms disappear? No. But Ivermectin DID help me avoid hospitalization when antibiotics and prednisone were not sufficient. I say follow the money. I hope there are consequences for making medical treatment political. Lives were at stake here.

Here in the US I got Ivermectin twice from my doctor in the last year. The first prescription was just a 20.00 copay the second one which was for my husband 6 month's later and I had to pay 140.00 because the middle man raised the prices and my mom and pop pharmacy couldn't take my insurance coverage on it and loose over $100.00 It's despicable what the pharmaceutical industries over here in the US are doing. Also it's very hard to find a pharmacy to even fill the script. Ivermectin worked great and both my husband and I took it early as soon as we got a positive covid test and we went from really sick to completely better after just 3 doses. One thing my doctor told me was to take the Ivermectin with food if you're using it for covid. On the box it says to take on an empty stomach but he explained that is for worms not covid. It's criminal how they have kept this medication from people here in the state's and the media has demonized this drug and so many people died needlessly or ended up in the hospital when they didn't need to.

There are so many issues with the IVM arm of the PRINCIPAL Trial. Apart from the low dose and short duration of treatment, the main issue is participants are recruited up to 14 days after a positive test. At day 14 most people either recover or require other medications such as corticosteroids and blood thinners. The fact that this trial is happy to recruit people who are “breathless” shows the lack of ethics. This is set up to fail. Antivirals work best when given early. The cut off date for testing the novel antivirals recently authorised by the MHRA was 5 days and 72 hours after a positive test respectively .

The vaccinated both get, and spread the virus, But that isn't what they said last year when the public was encouraged to run fast and get jabbed. we could throw away our masks, and get back to normal. oops. 11 weeks later, that wasn't true at all. to save face, the narrative became "it lessens hospitalizations". really? well, maybe IF we were allowed treatments in time, so many would not have died. They found Fluvoxamine to be more effective with RR of 0.7 and determined IVM RR of 0.8 was not statistically significant. The IVM data has not been fully released. I'd love to see their data. Absolutely! And let the trial be held in front of the World Court.

Doctors (reputable ones) don’t prescribe medicines based on conspiracy theories. That would be completely irresponsible.

Merk, a direct competitor to Ivermectin *would* say this. Corruption. We already know Ivermectin works. I've had friends who've taken it and were good in a week on average. Some two weeks. Everyone's different of course.

they're not a competitor, they created it and owned the patent and made millions out of it. Hell, one of their scientists was awarded the Nobel prize for it, together with the Japanese scientist who discovered it. The patent ran out though and I remember at the beginning of the pandemic, a Merk spokesman came out and warned people of the "dangerous side effects" ivermectin has.... so yeah... not suspicious at all.

No, we DON'T know it works. There have been dozens of trials, and they haven't substantiated it as having any efficacy whatever. Go to Cochrane for a summary of the trials.

Merck didn't say this; medpage today said this... two months ago, because two months ago the principle trial website *did* report supply issues with ivermectin. And who wants to bet those supply issues were down to distribution and not the production conspiracy John dreamed up? After all, the world-wide shipping issues aren't new, and they're extra bad in the UK due to brexit-related trucker shortages.
