I wish I would of saw how dusty it was at the end. I would of wiped it off 🤣. Seems like every chat night I either have something going on with the family or doing something at the church. I’ll try to at least hope on in the chat if I get a minute.

The Super Blue & Scotchbrite pads do a good job. I used the kit from Birchwood on the Yimeng copy of the model 37. I may try the brake cleaner instead of alcohol for cleaning next time. Glad Scothbrite comes in different grits cause its real handy. Nice job! 👍

​@@jesseboutdoorsDon't know if it may help you but for some smaller areas to scrub I have cut out small pieces of Scotchbrite pads & glued them - slightly overlapping in size - to a small wooden dowel or unsharpened #2 pencil. Sure helps with Arthritic hands. 👍

​@@jesseboutdoorsThey have the cotton swab cleaners with wooden handle but ones with a scrubbing pad or cloth would help. As age & physical issues - as you know- increase little tricks help. Got the left elbow in a wrap this morning because of bone spur issues. Learn to deal with things & just keep going 👍 👊!!

Your videos are helping me as well so THANK YOU! I had the same blueing issue on the receiver. The metal just didn’t want to take the chemical and when it did it was thin and easily polished away. I ended up repeating the process there multiple times. Wondered if it had anything to do with how it was made and engraved.

Looking good! I noticed you removed the front bead sight. Mine has a plastic hi-viz style from Ithaca, says "ITHACA" on one side and "PAT'D" on the other. How difficult was it to remove the bead sight?

I just used a pair of pliers. Mine is a brass bead though.
