@jesseboutdoors I'm not familiar with that action, so I'm not much help. Since the release works though, I wonder if some actuating spring or linkage is missing?

Hmm...I wonder if something is bent or missing that disengages the bolt after a round if fired. I bet it has something to do with the trigger group

From the diagrams everything is there. The bent part is what I’m thinking.
