My name, Gina, as well. I LOVE her because she sounds exactly like my mother, who was born in Pescara, Italy, and immigrated to the US!!! When I see her cook and hear her accent, I could almost cry she reminds me so much of my mother long ago deceased. Keep cooking Gina.

if anyone might find it helpful but actually Pavesini are a very different type of biscuit, smaller, crunchy, less spongy and with more sugar, they are used to make tiramisù in Italy but they are completely different from the ones Gina is using. The one she is using are called Savoiardi (lady finger). Love this channel, I am so happy you guys are putting all this knowledge online for everyone to learn, I would never want these traditions to be forgotten, she reminds me a lot of my grandma!!!!

These are called savoiardi or biscotti aal'uovo, the pavesini are different, and yes in italy they buy them for small children,

I LOVE Italian Grandma’s videos not only because her recipes are the BEST, authentic recipes, but also because they help me relive memories of my childhood in the kitchen with my Sicilian Grandma.
