Will Berk, I grew up with a grandma much like her. She was so content cooking. Always wore an apron and little black granny shoes. She also had a green thumb. If she found a leaf on the ground stomped on, she'd bring it home an a few weeks later it turned into a beautiful plant. She was amazing! She had morning glories in her yard and I would wait for them to open up early in the morning. Italian grandmas were the best. At Christmas time I'd sit in awe as she wrapped gifts beautifully. OMG! So soothing. She and her sisters made hand made lace. I could go on....lol. Glad so many viewers appreciate Gina. She's the real deal!

My dearly departed neighbor, Rose Marie Ligotino, taught this southern gal how to make biscotti. She always said mine was better. I used butter…she used oil. When I was younger, I would make 3 batches at a time. Coconut pecan, white chocolate chips w/ craisins & nuts, and chocolate with nuts. I love watching you cook dear Gina. My grandmother is all the way in a village in india 🇮🇳 . Since her cerebral stroke she’s got quite a bit of her memory back it’s not 100% . It’s like 99% back . So watching grandma Gina makes me feel like she’s right here with me. Also thanks for the recipe I love biscotti but I’m always finding it with almonds mixed in with biscotti. Almonds make my throat itchy it’s uncomfortable 😣 . Walnuts however I can eat them with no problem! Thanking you Nona Gina for your yummy food and your blessings.
