It is a sad state of affairs when such mediocre boxers get all of this attention and money. Kudos to them for going for it and the hustle, but these dudes are dumbing down the sport.

No they really arent. They are keeping the sport alive. The said EXACTLY what the problem is in this video. Ive been saying the same for years. This weirdo shit where 1 loss can ruin a career makes boxers duck each other. And the sport is withering because of it. Look at the days of Ali and Frazier. All of those guys has losses on their records and it didnt matter shit.

I studied traditional martial arts and "backyard" Kali & BJJ. I had an opportunity to trade lessons with a professional boxer. I signed the waiver and stepped into the ring. I had a awesome time...I loved it! HOWEVER...That was the last day I referred to ANY Boxer on TV as a sorry/mediocre fighter.... I don't care how bad the record. Although, I had an awesome time, I had a new level of respect for ALL Boxers. When it was time for the boxer to be introduced to Ving Tsun "Wing Chun".... he too learned a valuable lesson..... "No Gloves No Padding".... our hands, forarms,, etc are conditioned to be weapons for real combat. He couldn't box for about 2 months after just going through an introductory lesson and beginner Ving Tsun/JKD arm tough drills. Anybody that has anything negative about any boxer and/or any fighter period.... I CHALLENGE YOU to shut up, SIGN THE WAIVER, and step into the ring....and get that teachin!!! MUCH RESPECT TO ALL FIGHTING SYSTEMS!!! MUCH RESPECT TO ANYBODY WILLING TO STEP INTO THE RING!!!

I had 2 brothers 8 years older than me. One was a wrestler and the other was into Judo. I was beat up almost daily, or practiced on, by my brothers and it only stopped when I started getting the better of them. When I was 22 years old, and they couldn't beat me in arm wrestling they quit starting fights with me because, I quit playing for fun, almost killing my oldest brother with a shovel. FYI they were 6'1" 205 and 5'10" 235.. I was only 5'6" 163..

I've also fought people with headgear with the agreement not to go for knockdowns, within 30 seconds we're trying to roll each other's heads out of the ring. Kudos to Floyd for keeping the fight entertaining and refusing to knock his opponent out at his will.

I can't stand Jake Paul I think he is a shit stain on society but if you sit there and say that his boxing skills has not improved, and his boxing skills cannot hang with 95% of top level amateur prospects than you know nothing about boxing. I've trained boxing and Muay Thai for over 30 years and our humble Little Gym would turn him into a killer. I say that because he has natural power, he has the balls, and his innate natural ability is very evident for anybody that trains boxing. The science of boxing takes years to master but with the dedication this kid has the makings to compete in professional boxing. Too bad he is an overgrown Man Child that will most likely never succeed in real professional boxing because of his immaturity and overall Silver Spoon attitude

I just found this channel today and it’s the only time I’ll ever watch it. The way the commentator talks about paul tells you everything you need to know about their boxing acumen… Mayweather wasn’t even warmed up in that FRIENDLY EXHIBITION bout (throughout the history of boxing, exhibition bouts almost always end in a draw because the pro is only going 50%). It was an entertainment event, not a test of skill. As for beating other KZreadrs, wow, good job. He beat an MMA fighter in a purely boxing match (again, wow) and a retired NBA player (yawn). Now he’s the great white hope? Please. I’m an old man, I can remember when boxing was boxing, so forgive me if I’m offensive in my delivery. Put that bum in the ring with a real pro in his weight class and I’ll bet my pension on on the pro inside 3 rounds.

You gotta practice 1,000 punches a day and 1,000 kicks a day. It’s exhausting. So the real boxers or martial artists that go full contact have to do this.

If you noticed, all the fighter are under sized, much smaller than him. Then he fights guys with very little boxing or skills( sorry, but UFC fighters gave low boxing skills). Then when Logan finally fights a true boxer, one who was no longer rank, and old, and smaller, he gets his ass whipped! He needs to recognize there are levels to this game, and is not ready for a guy who is ranked, and anywhere near his age, and weight, they will kill him! Literally!

Watching amateurs flailing around the ring is one thing-paying to watch that is another thing. I get the feeling that there were more teenage girls watching than boxing fans.

He's not gonna be unified champ or anything, but sorry. Dude is reasonably legit. If he were nobody, Jake Paul still could've made a couple hundred grand as a respected journeyman. To draw the same parallel, I think it hasty to suggest he's not at least every bit as dangerous as Mickey Rourke.

I want to see Paul get in the ring and work his way up a weight division. The guy fights MMA guys who are smaller and unable to use ground fighting. Anyone else he has fought has been pretty much a dancer. If he wants to box, fight a true boxer who makes a living doing it.

Lol may weather could’ve knocked that guy out at anytime after the 3rd round 💯 he’s smart though it’s better to go the distance and give the crowd a good show rather then simply embarrassing him in a few rounds which is what everyone was expecting.

Mayweather Jr. was feinting not feining. Feinting is a boxing technique in which you draw your opponent into anticipating a certain punch or movement. Feining from Middle English feinen, feynen "disguise or conceal (deceit, falsehood, one's real meaning); dissemble, make false pretenses, lie; pretend to be" The two are not etymologically related.
