Yeah agree completely. They showed tyson for a reason. Similar styles just tyson would have killed him due to size difference but tyson use the in out step to the side or sometimes step to the side then hit the body if his opponent with a left body shot. Tysons punches were truly able to kill someone and the speed in the weight class I doubt will ever be matched. Seen the guy recently just messing around and he still moves better than most today. Tyson fury might be the best today but he's named after the best pound for pound off all time.

I'm 59 and haven't follow boxing much the past decades, due to life's ups and downs and things like that..Then one day a fighter by the name of Naoya Inoue from Japan pops up on my suggestive viewing on youtube..I decide to click on it, perhaps due to my family and I use to live in Japan ( dad was a Naval man and we stationed in Atsuki Naval Base ) in the late 60's, so I have a spot in my heart for Japan and it's culture , so I thought, why not, and click, and watch this Inoue kid, to make the story short, I'm back to watching boxing again all due to the greatness of the monster..

Bro, I saved a clip on my phone showcasing this very example! it's from Donaire 1 or 2, he wide swings a 1, 2, hits nothing then immediately dips outs, but he just stepped back so quick! so simple, but you just don't see many people with that kind of fast twitch.

@@minime1988 Dumb talk. Floyd doesn't pick opponents. He's fought and defeated 24 world champions, and holds the record of 26 consecutive wins in world title fights. So HOW can he "pick" opponents when ALL of his fights are world title fights? If every fight he fights in is a world title fights, then that basically means that his opponent is the top 3 contender in the division. So Floyd is fighting the best of the best. He just makes it look easy.

Now, he's held two belts at 122 and only one fight away from becoming Undisputed in 2 divisions. A true MONSTER!

The accuracy and sharpness of his punches are unreal. Every time I think he missed, the opponent falls down (which means he did not) or he pulls back the punch (which means he faked it). The speed of his foot work is also amazing. Most fighters that are in the lower weight class are extremely fast compared to the higher weight classes but this guy is something else. For men of culture, this is real life "Hajime no Ippo".

A sign of a generational boxer is when he moves up in multiple weight classes and makes champions of those classes look like a mismatch. Naoya Inoue has done just that and now he is in his prime. At this point only injuries can hold him back from becoming one of the old time greats.

Been following Naoya for many years now and he’s always been a beast of a puncher but I wasn’t sure how he would fair going up in weight which hes done flawlessly. He’s such an aggressive fighter that is so damn entertaining and interesting how no one has been able to handle his power.

Even before this fight vs Fulton he was already a 3 division world champ for 10 years. He's already been all the way to the top in 3 divisions. Right now he's cementing his legacy among those who have reached the very top. So basically it's like a world champ who is chasing after historical titles because he's already at the top and not much else he can chase after. Lol. It's like saying Michael Jordan will make it to the top after winning NBA finals and MVP player already because they are going for their third title in a row. Just the fact that such a comment exists tells me he's still highly underrated and not giving the respect he deserves. He's already at the very top. P4P and titles wise. What's he gotta do, dominate 10 weight classes or something and beat 100 black/Mexican world champs in a row in USA and Mexico like pacman? lol. Hes well on his way there already if that's what you mean by "all the way to the top" like somehow having titles in 4 divisions and ranked p4p 1st or second at worst is somehow "not at the top" already.

I once commented that Inoue has the comparative power of Tyson, the defensive skills of Mayweather and the quickness and aggressiveness of Pacquiao. Expectedly, fellow Filipino boxing "fans" ganged up on me claiming Pacquaio and other Filipino boxers are the greatest. I hope one day boxing fans can appreciate a fighter's greatness regardless of nationality, color and race.

@@poindextertunesI agree Mayweather's defensive prowess was great but he was defensively vulnerable against fighters who were aggressive and relentless. Cases in point we're the first fights with Castillo and Maidana, which not a few people thought he both lost. We can only speculate what would have happened if Castillo and Maidana had the ring IQ, power, speed and defensive skills of Inoue. Of course we can only speculate😀😀.

What I am just pointing out is Mayweather's vulnerability against aggressive, relentless and non-stop punching fighters. Don't get me wrong though, I one of his fans, specially the younger version of him.

As a Filipino, it's devastating for me to see our great Boxer Donaire has fallen twice against Inoue. But we have to give props to Inoue, he's an absolute beast and on a different level.

Needless to say, Donaire is one of the greatest boxer. He was the toughest enemy for Naoya so far. He hurt so bad and he almost finished the monster which is crazy. Respect for Donaire from Japan 🇯🇵

​@@johnmcpherson1713 Inoue is a 30 year old 4 division champ, was Undisputed at Bantamweight. His next fight will likely be for Undisputed at Super Bantamweight against Marlon Tapales. That would make him and Crawford the only two fighters to be Undisputed in two divisions. He proved his power translates at Super Bantamweight so there's nothing stopping him from moving up to Featherweight and becoming a 5 division champ next year. If his power continues to translate at higher weights, he could potentially secure titles in several more divisions. His potential is off the charts.

Quite a fighter..glad he showed up on my feed. I was that skinny kid in school who knew how to box a little. I also wrestled but I went to 3 different middle schools and 3 different High Schools and I always had to either swallow my pride and allow people to bully me or get them to meet off school grounds to pug it out. It only took a few fights to shut the bullies up but I began to see nerds getting picked on so I defended them. To this day, many years later, the friends I have are the nerds from High School.

Naoya is my wifes cousin on her fathers side. Ive met him many times. We are so honored the mighty Mike Tyson would call Naoya out for his boxing skills! That is an honor and thank you. Im 6' 3" and study MMA, when first meeting Naoya he seems very small but WOW can he strike and move! Hes a really nice guy and extremely devoted to what he puts his mind to in ways very far ahead of most others in his sport. Our family are very proud! Thank you SO much for the video Boxing Matrix 🙏💯

One of the most glanced over attributes of Naoya Inoue, is his strategy. Part of that strategy is his aggressive style. It allows him to dictate the fight, it's HIS fight, you can see it on his face. He always forces his opponents to react to him. He downloads the data from each exchange, to be used against them, at the most appropriate time. We witness a variety punches and combinations but they are not unto themselves. They are series of purposeful blows in a well planned strategy, leading to an opponent's demise. His team is quietly overlooked but an undeniable contributor to his success. His most important strategy is, "He always has a plan, even after getting punched in the face".

There is no one yet to beat him,he is up there all on his own.

Inoue and Shohei could be one of the best if not the greatest ever in their respective sports. To me, what’s equally as impressive besides their physical prowess and talents is their humbleness and humility. No trash talking, taunting, or bad attitudes. Just hard work, discipline, and letting their results do all of the talking.

Inoya is a fighter you don’t talk about.. he just does his thing. Great fight, great boxing, perfect timing for him. Can’t wait to see where he goes next with his career.. and his little brother has been doing well too.

Truly earned his title as the pride of Japanese boxing, I cant wait to watch his next fight.

My favourite fighter. Incredible anticipation, speed, control of range, made possible by his legs and brain. The arms aren't too bad either with KO power on both sides from different angles. Granite chin, heart of a warrior, old school gentleman who stayed true to his roots. He's like a cross between Crawford and Gervonta Davis but 8kg lighter. Inoue, Usyk, Crawford, Davis, Fury is my top 5

He’s every bit what his nickname implies. He’s THE Monster.

Two things: One, he has a great chin. And two, I haven't seen a straight right that fast and effective since a young Ali. His speed and power are off the charts.

He has been my P4P #1 since he KO'd Donaire in that 2nd fight. His recent win against Fulton further solidifies it for me, that he is far and away the best boxer in the world right now.

I think a lot of people try to discredit Inoue for having a close fight with a past-prime Donaire, but I think they're missing the real point: the only way to even remotely touch Inoue is to have vast experience, technique, and power. It's not enough to be a slick counter puncher. It's not enough to be a heavy-handed brawler. You have to be at least as versatile as Inoue, and that's a BIG ask. Yet even then, Inoue's improved dramatically since his first fight with Donaire, showing new wrinkles that have made the gap between him and other boxers ever wider. His head-movement and clinch-fighting ability has improved. His already stellar footwork and jab are even sharper. Any weakness people have tried to identify in him, Inoue rectifies and then proceeds to excel past. He's truly a monster of modern boxing.

Inoue uses each fight to gain knowledge to constantly improve himself. I'm sure, even though he won easily against Fulton, he'll analyze the fight and pick out places where he failed to connect or avoid some his punches.

Donaire was 36 during that first fight, but a 36 yrs of age, is not yet old, that is an excuse, Manuel Marquez was 39 when he knockout Pacquiao, He is 5 years older than Pacquiao

Agree. Another skill Inoue has worth noting is how effortlessly he can disentangle himself when an opponent try to clench and tie him. Pacquiao failed to neutralize Mayweather's excessive holding. Their fight could have turned differently if he did.

Absolutely superb documentary. The narration, video editing and music all top notch.

The punches the impressed me most on this first viewing of Inoue were those short lefts that knocked his opponent down. He seems to producing deadly power with these punches. They certainly are more than a straight left, but look to me like a very compact left hook that is so fat it delivers knock out power before the opponent can block or avoid it. A pleasure to watch.

Indeed! He hits so hard that you can feel the pain inflicted to the opponent by just watching..

The monster does everything exceptionally well.

Inoue learned a lot from his fight from Donair. Which ultimately made him greater

@@dh-vv3jo やはり骨太でハム筋と太ももふくらはぎが大きく体幹が太い井上はバンタムではきつかったんでしょうね！ コロナ禍にアメリカでモロニーとやった時も二週間隔離されていて食事面の調整が上手くいかず調子を崩していたみたいで数ラウンドこなした後足がつりそうになってましたね、その中であんな圧勝するからもう訳分かりません笑

What an amazing fighter, and good man. he has a lot of skill and a lot of character at the same time. His ability to concentrate is incredible. I think his fights with the great Doniare made him a great fighter.

People conveniently forget that Donaire dropped Nordine Oubaali in the 4th round to become champion again, after the first Inoue fight. Oubaali was an undefeated champion.

This is why i like boxing over MMA. There is respect between fighters. When the opponent goes down you dont immediately start trying to end their live and beating them when they are down, there is honor in letting your opponent get back up and defeating them TOE TO TOE standing.

Monster is one of the best body punchers of the last 10-15 years, it is the power to the body that sets up the finish. Also, whilst he has a very good chin the reality is that he rarely gets hit clean, and when he does he is often moving away which weakens the power of the shot. Monster for me. He is just more clean and technical and more accurate and power. Better distance control, can fight outside, inside, can brawl or out box you and do it all with such a clean style that is just beautiful to watch. He is like what I consider the perfect Orthodox boxer to be. Crawford is crazy good but he has a more unique/less orthodox style and not as nice to watch as Inoue. That is not a put down of Crawford, but just super praise for inoue. Crawford still number 2 p4p but stylistically inoeu is just IT for me personally. Of course other will disagree, and that's fine as long as they put inoeu number 2 haha. Who do you have as p4p after Crawford fight?

I am thrilled about this boxer. I'm from the Philippines.

He reminds me of a lightweight Roberto Duran..powerful, lightning fast, durable and savvy. This, I believe, is a great fighter.

If you can cornered Inoue it's already great achievement even if you loose 😂

15:45 is the best part when Nonito throws his heart out in the ring knowing he lost, giving it his absolute all at the end.

It’s really hard to defeat Naoya because of his talent, powerful punch and he has a lot of stamina if you’re Naoya opponent you’ll be dead if you don’t have that three things, watch out for those hater’s already for Naoya he is really a Monster 👽👽👽😂😂😂yap he has a lot of skills and maybe he can like Manny PAC someday. I never made it up in ranks due to epilepsy from the military but before that was undefeated in boxing. In kickboxing I only lost once because I dislocated my shoulder. I was taught never go straight forward or backwards…..I actually never backed up. We would just be circling. Run from me and I just go side to side following ya till we end up in a corner. Being in that ring is amazing!
