This Wedding was more grandeur than the Royals and any other wedding. The couples are together and their kids look happy and healthy. May god bless them and continue with their charity and philanthropy.

Her father worked hard and accomplished the luxury he is able to give to his children I don't doubt charity is given you never accomplish wealth without giving. As for the poor who struggle like many of us have should find the will to better their life's even if it's selling sticks. If we wait for God or others to help us we will never learn to achieve and stand on your own two feet. We should make God proud of us not pray and beg for help. I grew up poor and promised myself I will not let the next generation suffer and I achieved it on my own. We all can like her dad did you just need to feel the passion for the love of others. It's not a European/Western marriage for the couple to sign divorce papers as if it's nothing. Indian couple sort their differences, if they can't then both families gets involved and the matter will be settled. A reason why most Indian marriages lasts longer

I agree that one should not be so extravagant but then they have earned it with their hardwork and brains.

You can do that from where you are standing financially in a simple manner. If those rich people spending their money on charity, organizations still have alot more to spend for generations, why will not they spend on their lovely one and only daughter's wedding grandly. I mean that must be their dream right?! I don't want to criticize friends. Let's not judge and criticize others easily. One who does small charity with his/her small earnings won't talk this way. India has never done any of those but grown its own wealth which is why it was the richest nation on earth for 1000s of years. West loots to become rich and then falls back into nothingness when it cannot loot anymore. We see this in the way that Rome Portugal, Spain etc quickly got gold and quickly ate through it all. Today they are not at all as important. Same for UK which has become 2nd tier in the west in just 50 years post colonisation. By contrast, Japan, Vietnam etc built themselves up after having been devastated. India was the worst case of looting and rapacity but is today a world leader in a mere 8 years of Modi govt. The west cannot BELIEVE that someone they devastayed, discriminated against, and even after 1947 they kept plotting against, is standing tall and outdoing them!!

I know a couple invited a few friends and some poor people of their vicinity for their wedding. Just served cake and tea. They were social workers and their house was built and filled by friends donating them different things. Till today nearly 30 years later the couple are so much in love and such beauty in their relationship. They couldn't bear children so adopted a boy and girl and today those kids are doing well in life. In the long run everything will be ok.

I’ll rather see them give jobs to those scammers stealing money from poor elderly, lonely and poor people from different parts of the world. Then I’ll respect them.

Wow...now imagine what that money could've done for those living it rough and hard in the slums of India. A man who is blessed with enough wealth gives back to his country and people goes down as a legend and amongst some of the highest ranking people. It's insane, there are so many poor people in India what are they doing to help them? Just got back from India and Nepal, and I saw poverty and heart wrenching situations for the poor over there.

I would celebrate a normal wedding for my daughter, fulfilling all her needs & fancy items which could be covered in a meagre fraction of that amount. Rest all for neglected children, orphanages with mind stimulating best equipment & care centre for them so that they do not feel the absence of their parents.

All i can say!.. they're so lucky for having a wealthy parents!..hardwork is the main reason to become rich.. don't make negative comments?.. follow his father's footstep!...be wise with no vices plus hardwork!.. maybe someday you will become rich also!..

Something about this statement sounds a little sanctimonious, it is easy to say when it is not your life or wedding, just saying.

In the first 2 minutes of this video, I notice that the father, despite being one of the wealthiest men in the world, is still married to his first wife, and his eyes are kind eyes. I predict that before I've even watched the rest of this video that his daughter is still happily married, because looking at her parents, I suspect they both had "good sense," and brought their daughter up "right." It is not a sin to be expensive in your ways of living as.long as you give to the needy and always help poor people

People tend to show off with their money I don't think this is a big deal hope their mariage works that's all that matters

Mostly for any businessman hosting such a big event or party is not only about celebration and spending the money. I don't know how does it actually works but it involves tax saving, money laundering along with networking with high networth individuals. Also in most the cases, the actual amount spent is less than what's show or for what the bills are produced.
