The cars , mobiles, technology, communication, infrastructure , medicine and others that we enjoy today, we owe it to capitalism. Or else we'd still be using bsnl and watching doordarshan.

@@fahds2583 Indonesia has a better-industrialied economy (while India is still an agricultural economy with the majority of people in rural areas). They have a better standard of living and one of the main reasons why India has a larger economy is because of its population size I love India as a Indian but we have to acknowledge its flaws , in order to improve and progress further

Wealth & success has not corrupted Mr. Mittal! also his humility and identify to roots were not lost rather treasured Ms. Garewal showcases there can dignity in interviewing and she does a detailed research and homework to get the best story presented

Simi is one of her kind. beautiful,intelligent,smart and graceful,combination that is so rare to find nowadays.thank you mam,series of Rendezvous cannot be done without you....

The moment interview opens, Lakshmi ji looks at Simi with respect and yet that apprehension is visible - is this worth my time ? Yet few minutes into chatting with her, he opens up bot his childhood in Rajasthan, his college princi in Kolkata, his family, love of his life. Simi is master of grace n etiquette. So poised and understated ease at handling her guests. Lakshmi ji is literally the man of steel : solid, calm, cool, unbreakable. It’s a joy to see such men who attain unthinkable heights n yet attach paramount importance to family values n institutions of society. My heart smiles when he talks bot his competitors wanting to employ his son Aditya. He simply smiles n says : They can’t afford my son. What a line ! Salaam Lakshmi ji. Aapko Ishwar pariwar ka harr sukh de, yahee duaa hai. 🙏

Laxshmiji is one in a billion, a mercurial personality yet down-to-earth. It is awesome not less that he realised his road map to fame when he built his steel plant in Indonesia, and envisioned and actively implemented a strategy of vertical integration. Maa Lakshmi has of course blessed him with abundance beyond measure. I like it when he says his son Aditya is a genius.

I would say its the Best Interview...Best Question asked by Simi Ji and outstanding answer by Sir Lakshmi Mittal Jii...

I love it when mittal jii says he is not superstitious he belive in super power which is god this is why he is soo successful.

Man this women asks such relevant question. Straight from the heart

On of the reasons why he became so successful was because he got his primary education in his mother tongue...same was true for Dhiru Bhai...That's also the reason why Korea, Japan, China are so much ahead of India because they did not make mistake of imparting primary education in a foreign language...that made their foundation strong.

@@NikhilMathew122333 Dude, if you want to get a job as a waiter in a 5-star hotel, or as a butler/driver to haul tourists, you do need to have good command over English....if you want to work as a night-shift call center employee, it certainly helps if you got convent or English medium school...let the native vernacular speakers be the owners and you can serve them very well...

My father kailash chandra gupta was cheif executive in Trinidad and Tobago plant...He was sole authority to run the ant...He was l.N mittal ji s technical advisor...The interview I was watching was like I was talking to my father...Their thoughts were all same...I m lucky I m his daughter and was my father's boss..He was with him for 6to 7 year's in different countries..Including surabaya

I started watching your series recently, particularly liked the episodes covering Indian business people. You do a brilliant job of researching about the person and asking the right questions. Larger than life on the magazines! But he is a very simple, down to earth man from the words he speak.

He's a very confident, down to earth,and humble human despite of being such a powerful person and doesn't have tantrums. Simi as always does her homework well before interviewing the person and that's why rendezvous is a hit and my favourite. Maybe in future she must interview her son,"Adit".

In every party of the interview she is so brilliant. The language, pronunciation, the attitude, softness in her every word.. really hats off to u mam✌️✌️

great business mind. Lot of teachings in the conversation , He should write a book I think for the entrepreneurs .

What a great interviewer and he is one of the best business leaders of our generation, so smart and charismatic

Majority have deferred success and only a tiny group get exceptional success but they are exceptions.

Interesting interview. I enjoyed watching it. So true "you have to be at your strongest when you are feeling at your weakest." A strong person never doubts himself/ herself. Your strength helps you to live; only hard time make you stronger.

Hats off to u sir, even I shifted to dav school after sixth standard from Hindi medium, practically it took about four years , in tenth standard I could adjust with English culture, thanks to u, ambanee jee and ratan tata jee for making our nation

Simi Ji has done so much research to speak to him on this topic and this man is sooo humble😇 when he said he does not get agitated I understood why he is so prosperous 😇

Omg What an amazing interview I am happy I selected this to see amongst the other interviews which I am yet to relish (Long back I read about him in may be India today or something, But this live interview is more exciting What an intellectual n composed interview Both the interviewer and the interviwee are so great By this interview we could get the golden and impossible opportunity to have a glimpse of his huge palace N what an apt name his parents have kept him "Lakshmi nivas mittal "metal (steel) rather"" Godess Lakshmi is literally having a permanent nivas (stay) in his home (palace) Simi ji has made a lot of homework n research about him and his company, empire rather Interviewing art or crafts professional is different I am very pleasently surprised the way simiji has designed her questions, it rather went so smooth flow And it's really worth all the way she has travelled to him, it's good otherwise we would have never been able to see his palace How grounded he is! What xlnt answers he gives to all the questions she poses. He says he gets alert and not tensed He says he would follow his son He says the formula of acqusition is faster and practical rather than building Omg He says success " deferred". In such a huge empire only one failure, n Simi ji has the information Wow, he has gone on a tour and never returned Wow he still holds an Indian passport He gives 100 PC to his wife He is so grounded Omg Waiting to watch the second part, won't be able to sleep without watching it Could not wait till I expressed my feedback through this comment section I forgot many points n highlights of the interview which I wanted to write Vv happy
