    I'd say Every home needs "Vice Grips". ( The real Mccoy too. Not the Craftsman brand or any other fakery ) They are just as good for those two applications, as well as having the one adjustment, are spring loaded, and have another 999,998 more uses.

    I have not seen anything as unique and useful since I saw the video showing how they the replace screens for the glass bottom on the glass bottom boats boats in the summer. Its much cooler and the bugs don't get in.

    Box cutters are pretty cheap to buy and the blade either retracts or folds in for safety. This is more work than it's worth.

    One good thing about it is, it's a universal blade holder, amazing you can go from a carpet blade to a utility blade in seconds to a roofing blade then a razor blade WOW
