As a BC boy born and raised, i can say with confidence that the BC scene overacts to things more often than i have seen with other scenes, ive seen things like this happen more than once, wouldn't surprise me if it was targeted in some way because they knew the community would react kneejerk. Ive seen people banned for making jokes at people that were 100% okay and invited by the receiver.

Also a bc boy. I got banned because I asked some people to stop talking to me that were being rude behind my back, one of those guys was casually dropping the hard R in grind sessions. Same guy and his friends complained to the TO that I “made them uncomfortable” by asking them to give me space and was banned indefinitely

Best of 3 pools is fine for an open tournament. The biggest thing that separates high level play from top level play is adaptation that can only really happen in best of 5. It's also my favorite part of watching as a spectator. For an invitational like this, where everyone is a top player, I really do think best of 5 pools is better

It is true lmao Hispanics in general. ZeRo (Peru) destroyed everyone in Smash4 for the majority of the games life span. Hbox(Argentina) who changed and carried the Jigglypuff meta MKLeo who took the mantle soon after ZeRo reign end and destroyed a good portion of Ultimate, Spargo who then took the mantle after MKLeo, and then Japan finally takes the throne and still currently has it. Although Shadic might just be that dude that could beat Acola. What I found out is that they don't have a lot of top players but the few or one that there are just leagues above the rest. It is like the legendary Saiyan every 100 years. Lol

I think a lot of it stems from the fact they come from poorer countries who do it as an opportunity for a better living. MKLeo mentioned it was his way providing food for his family in an interview, ZeRo risked everything to come to America and succeed if he didn't do would literally be homeless and probably dead. Etc.

Okay i said one last thing but… many trans people say girld especially in the p word industry. Its a pretty common term because i mean its what most trans woman are Again saying that is really not that deep Thats like something u say then realize it was wrong then apologize for why was that even put in the ban reason? The only bad thing is can see is the deadnaming but he apologized and moved on and this was from 1-2 years ago.
