Raw drive rush into psycho crusher might be possible due to how long Bison DR is (even when pressing back would brake it, there's a bit of a delay before it actually stops, a "skid", shall we say). Anyone want to see plus on block DR psycho crusher or DR knee press? It sure would be a witch to play against but it'd be fun to watch.

They've had guest characters before, but it's always been from other Capcom series that got folded into the Street Fighter canon. This is the first time we've gotten a collaboration guest character.

I think her healing Lv2 should be an install like FSE that requires her to actively hit to drain health. If it's deemed too powerful, it could even add scaling, and recover her health by the amount her damage is reduced. There are ways to make it much more interactive than before.

That’s the one thing I’m afraid of. If they’ve the audacity to give Elena her healing back, it’ll be USF4 all over again, and my Slayer Bison wants none of that again.

It really won’t be that bad. Healing was only ever an issue in SF4 because it was an Ultra. Now that it’ll be a super using it is more of a commitment since you aren’t guaranteed to be able to use it multiple times a round without any drawback

@@johnlangley479 I mean, I've seen Rashid get multiple level 2's in a round before they stopped him gaining meter during it, and I imagine Elena won't be getting her meter gain stopped because she healed. Healing will just give her more time to build another one, and since she gets meter from taking damage as well as dealing it, she'll have more health to use to fuel her super meter. It might not be as bad as iit was with the ultra meter, but it won't be healthy for the game or anyone's mental state.

She could deal reduced damage and not gain _any_ super until it ends, with a chance to take damage without gaining meter while it's active. It would also mean her biggest guaranteed heal would be Lv2 > extended combo > Lv1 combo ender, which would fully drain her meter.

Another great point. I wouldn't have minded guest characters eventually, especially FF characters, but I feel like the first few seasons of DLC should've been dedicated to community favorites and some newcomers. This feels like Capcom and SNK worked out some backdoor deal to promote Garou.

Think of it like this. Characters were bundled into new versions which took years to release and you had to pay for. Now we have "consistent" characters but they still take a long time to make them. So by year 3 we should have a full roster but don't have to wait for new separate editions of the game like before.

I was hoping for Sakura, too, but Elena, Terry, and Mai (ESPECIALLY) will hold me over until then. I also hope there's a secret 5th character (preferably Sakura) because the 4 a year just isn't cutting it for a lot of players. We've still not received a good outfit DLC and no new stages (that didn't come out with a character). It makes me worry that this game won't last very long, and be stuck with a lot of characters missing. All in all, I'm extremely happy with these characters (except for M. Bison). I just hope his gameplay is VERY different. His new look is cool (I have to admit). I hated the old one.

@@SilentAndy Not a fan of this season or 4 chars a year but I think they are on SF6 for the long haul. I think they will be adding characters for quite a while.

SFV used to be 6 characters a season. I think that's part of why the release schedule for season 1 felt so slow. Got the first 2 chars out relatively quick and took like a 4 month break with no costumes until late in the year.

I really like playing dictator whenever he's in a game but im honestly kinda mad that he's coming back now not even waiting till a lot later like gill and Seth at the end of sf5. Terry and Mai are cool but it sucks that we have to wait another year before getting any street fighter characters that have needed to come back like viper or more sf3 characters and im still sad that we don't have Mike haggar either

The detail you noticed of the old game screenshots might make his dialogue make a lot of sense. In the gameplay trailer, Bison says that he's gonna take that name and make his own. This might mean that this character is not just Bison in another body but an entirely different person and somehow they absorbed Bison's power/memories during that cutscene and that's why they're showing all those screenshots of Bison in previous titles. This is just a theory but it adds to that line he says in the gameplay trailer which made me question what he meant by that.

Did not want guest characters since we have like so many in the SF universe who should appear first including new characters but I like they chose characters that will be around longer than SF6. Rather than characters that will get more screen time in SF6 than their own game or show.

Problem X gets to run it back again with The Dictator. 😎

Crazy -- companies usually pull this kind of stunt near the end of the life of their franchise 😅 great prospect on things to come for this series. Still want an official Capcom vs SNK 3 though

They said this Bison woke up with amnesia so I'd guess the little screenshots of past games when he's absorbing the psycho power are his memories returning.

Extremely questionable decision to dedicate a whole half of the season to guest characters, especially this early in the game's life with so many heavily requested sf chars still missing. I'm really disappointed but i'm glad a lot of people seem happy atleast.

We're only getting 2 characters this year. The official trailer here on KZread shows Elena and Mai scheduled for 2025.

Genuinely disappointed tbh, I've been happy with everything around SF6 so far until now. I'm not a fan of adding guest characters to Street Fighter, and having two of them in the same season is a bummer. This feels like DLC that should've been released way later in the games lifespan, especially since they're including Bison.

They probably showed Bison in game cause that's who is first. The others are probably not even done yet or are still being worked on

In SF6 life is short because you wasted space inviting characters from another franchise when you have so many characters, not only that but there are only 4 you should have put at least 6 characters since you wasted space on Mai and Terry.

I got my main back so I can't complain too much but I'm still a little disappointed. I love bison but I would take Makoto over the other three any day. 2 guest characters in 1 season feels like too many when there are only 4 slots. I would have preferred an original over Mia. Save her for season 3

JWIWJEJEJEJ MAN! I was saying THIS FOR A LONG TIME THAT SF SHOULD DO GUEST CHARACTERS "outside of their own company" and they should have Terry!!! And they literally did!! AND MAI TOO! Two iconic fighting games characters! Man i freaked out i thought its a fever dream i was LIKE WHAT !!! TERRY & MAI IN SF!? they gonna look so perfect in the RE Engine! SF in its whole history has never had a guest character and now to have it from their old rivals is just insane and it can't get better than terry & mai! Seriously i didn't care for bison i mean ok ofc he's back but this is a legendary moment in fatal fury & SF history! The guys at capcom gonna make these two just insanely good and cool af! Can't imagine their supers and iconic moves in SF style! This is a dream! As a fan since the 90s it made me go crazy, this is soo big guys you have no idea! Terry & Mai are in SF6! The first guest characters ever in mainline SF game! Just wow! Listening to the music made go WHATS HAPPENING 😭🔥❤ made my day, the man men did it 😂🔥 the director said we gonna go crazy and he wasn't kidding! It was really funny. I first saw the thumbnail and chuckled thinking it was a shitpost. Then I saw it was from the official account WTF. Super down to it though. Capcom finally adding guest characters.
