To be honest I reckon that GT was the perfect "capture". You got the best of him, got a decent fight, got a look at him, then he let go in a perfect catch and release way with no harm to to fish and without having to bust your balls to pluck him from the water. I'd be stoked with that.

It’s a Black Hole Cape Cod II Dennis Verreet Special 8’6 prototype with titanium guides. Super stiff PE 10 rod, perfect to turn big fish when rock fishing. Unfortunately not available for anyone else. The one I use on that tuna is a Black Hole Surf II in 10’ custom build with titanium guides as well.

How’s the Dennis V. series popping rod coming along? How would you like to see them improve upon your old stand by CC86N? I’m currently testing some surf rods for Kil and the 12’ Striped Bass Special is going to be a Rooster monster! You’ll be bombing out GT ice creams 150+ yards

You know, when I was a kid, my M&D would take me fishing every school/Christmas/Easter/longweekends/ holidays. Our memory record taker of those days was a little camera with a roll of film that we had to be careful how we loaded, make sure the daylight didn't get into it, hope the flash would work... etc etc. The list of "make sure you this right's..." was endless. And it ONLY took one thing to go wrong, to screw the entire roll. So mate, for the amount of money those things cost, and for the amount of "..It's easy as this..." that the advertising states.... You get as shitty as you like! I'd expect the bloody thing to put a solid gold frame around the stills, for all the hype you hear about them - you expect it to at least stay the f...k turned on, hey!! 😂😂Nice tuna btw. 👍❤

Never had that much trouble with a GoPro like with the 9. Both my cameras freeze, overheat, delete files, damage files and just turn off by themselves without even making a noise. Absolute crap! And then you contact them and they act like they never heard of that problem before! All my mates cameras do that as well and my 7’s were the same.
