Fished with Wesley Brough several years ago. Great kid. He'll put you on the fish. If I ever get back to Cabo, he’s my first choice from the shore. Those Black Hole rods are super light and will take a beating. I own many of them and love every one. They don’t release a rod w/o extensive testing first.

Not Hawaii. We might have good spots, but not like this. To catch mackerels thats chased by huge GTs would be a gold mine, and everyone would be there. Gotta keep these spots a secret because it will get outsfished to shit

Its in Australia Scott. And also didn´t I change the side I wind my reel. It was always left. I´m right handed and need my strong arm on the rod. I just switch over during the fight to do not run out of strength in just one arm.

Im right handed, thats why I wind with my left (weak arm). In a lot of countries they do it the other way round, but it doesn´t make sense!

Why? That was a prototype. Thats what they are there for, to find out what´s good and what´s not. The rod will never go in production like that.

Sounds like you never caught a GT. You let them run, they bust you off! Especially in that spot with a big reef drop off.

no one told you to let them run 200 meters... you could have released 10% of your drag and also save your rod and get the fish..

No! They are related but still a different fish. A GT grows way bigger.

Wow just seeing this out of the box kzread.infoUgkxQr1yd4Zc6qJF-scTB6Zb9dQbVpviuRxB recommend I have yet to fish with this set up, but based on the first hands on appeal, I can tell this is going to change the way i pack and carry to a whole new level. If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.
