This khutba has really opened my eyes to the evils of backbiting. There are people who have wrongned me in the past and to this day, and despite not forgiving them, we shouldn't put our heart in darkness and give them our good deeds by slandering them. Our good deeds are too precious for us to lose on such people. Nouman Bhai, I don't know if you will read this, but your khutbas have changed the way I think and approach this deen. You truly are a blessing to our Ummah, and no amount of thanks can ever be enough. May Allah bless and forgive us all. Ameen.

For the sake of Allah, I love the Ustadh. May God protect and keep him.

Allhumdolilah. I learnt a very valuable lesson today. May Allah forgive my transgressions and grant me and all of the Ummah the hidayat to rid ourselves of backbiting. May we live with awareness and consciousness.

This was such an eye opener. Backbiting is EVERYWHERE yet isn't talked about enough considering how evil it is. I hate how normalised it's become for muslims and non Muslims- at uni or in group chats, at events or even amongst family: backbiting backbiting backbiting. It's like people don't know how to socialise without it and I've even faced hardship for unwilling to take part in it. Sometimes people even do literal backbiting! like whispering of the person right in front of them who's back is to them. It's gotten to the point even online people take pics of people and post where thousands take part in backbiting and mockery of a complete stranger. Wallahi sometimes I feel there's no hope for the world.

SubhanAllah, I came here just after listening to the response of ustad to Junaid Jamsheds old controversial issue, and now again he started discussing the same .. what a coincidence.

i hope that any brother in bayyinah sees this comment. actually it is not a comment, it is a request. i think that these khutbahs are really important for all Muslims. so i m requesting from u guys that u should post it consistently because these kind of khutbahs really deepen the knowledge and love to allah more than obligate Muslims to do a thing without mentioning the reason backed with it. i am really thankful for finding such lessons in the channel. please don't stop doing what you're doing. i assure u that all of us need more and more to get more closure to our creator Allah.

This khutbah is scaring me....may Allah keep our tongues for good words only. Need this reminder everyday.

SubanAllah one thing that I love about Nouman Ali Khan is that he makes the sahabah and the Quran relatable

I cried a couple of times listening to this one and the other one which is related to this. A lot of our fellow muslim brother so ignorant about the Quran especially Suratul Nur. May God teach us all to His Book and Wisdom.

I have crafted this ingenious method of being in the presence of people and not listening to what they're saying at all....I know its abit tricky because sometimes a question or a comment is thrown at you to get a reaction from you but i like to play dumb and pretend I've no clue what they're talking about...I guess you call me the anti social one because I'm not included in most of the pointless conversation which I'm not complaining about 😋

مَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَذَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَىٰ مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّىٰ يَمِيزَ الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ ۗ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ يَجْتَبِي مِنْ رُسُلِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۚ وَإِنْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَلَكُمْ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ Al-Imran 179. Allah will not leave the believers in the state in which ye are now, until He separates what is evil from what is good nor will He disclose to you the secrets of the Unseen. But He chooses of His Messengers (For the purpose) whom He pleases. So believe in Allah. And His messengers: And if ye believe and do right, ye have a reward without measure.
