I got so turned off the robberies in boxing I started watching MMA.

One of the worst decisions i've seen for a long time, probably on par with the Lewis Ritson robbery. The dude was outlanded 2 to 1, floored and clearly given a boxing lesson at times. I am absolutely shocked. I feel for Catteral, he's been denied life changing money.

How many times is this going to happen, the sport is so corrupt. Not sure what fight they were watching, but Josh got schooled. STOP killing our sport. Ban them Judges, strip Josh and give the belts to the right man. Jack don't need a rematch, he already won. Josh knows he lost and so does his trainer and they are saying Josh won lol what a joke, lost all respect for Josh and his team. At least lose with dignity.

@@leetaylor9510 If you lose, the better man won, shake hands and fix the mistakes you made in the fight and have the rematch, but Josh knows he can't win and will vacate and move up a weight. Governing body will probably make Jack No1 one and fight for the title, but there is no guarantee he will win and may never win a world title. Which means he loses out on saying he was world champion.

nah ya gotta rips the titles off the champ..its english bias son..the knockdown was a joke and the points deductions an even bigger joke..plus luck wasnt on jacks side..he lost it at the weigh in son..maybe it was karma but it wasnt a robbery when you take into account the facts..english bias didnt even win you the fight because the judges seen through it and they always favour the champ and home fighter when it comes to close rounds..hence you have to go beyond matching the champ you gotta supercede every department...next time for jack in a few years..he will get a shot at one of the belts next so can redeem himself then son..

Wasn't that bad. The fight was awful and the referee ruined the fight. Jack knew he was facing the home boy and to be honest, he took the gas off when he knocked Josh down. Jack should of won but he should of done more to convince the judge's. We all know boxing is corrupt.

There was a 10-8 round and a point deduction in there yet one judge gave Taylor 114 points which means that judge thinks Taylor won 8 of the 12 rounds. Staggering really.

This is why boxing will always be a niche sport. This sort of decision brings boxing in to disrepute. The casual viewer will laugh at this sort of thing. It has yet again set the sport back years.

I've been a massive boxing fan for 40 years watched every boxing night on Sky this is disgraceful there must be some sort of appeal process there has got to be this has got to stop now stop

why oh why cant the judges' scores be posted during the 1 minute breaks between rounds ? If this was done, then everyone would know exactly what the score was, and react accordingly.

As a josh taylor fan I find that incredible to see. Jack won that fight.

Boxers spend their whole life training and battling their way to the top and then a fighter can absolutely dominate like Caterall did and have his dreams crushed from incompetent judges. They need to explain their decisions before being sacked

Felt with the length of time judging was taking that it might end up being a fixed draw to save both fighters records and have a rematch, but to see those scores was absolutely outrageous. Taylor was outclassed all night long and as a Scot, I'm disgusted to see this happen on our soil.

We all knew a robbery was about to go down when the score cards were delayed

Sometimes, you have to knock an opponent out just to get a draw. That’s boxing - dirty, corrupt & bent. Always has been and it always will. My heart goes out to Catterall who has lost his unbeaten record, the world titles and the financial rewards which would’ve followed. People will rightfully complain but nothing will change the result.

I bet alot on Jack at 8 to 1. I only feel a tiny fraction of the hurt he is feeling from being robbed 😢

Listened to it on the radio and it sounded like Jack won quite convincingly.

Jonny hit the nail on the head when he said that scandalous verdict said “believe me, not your lying eyes” ….I actually feel sorry for Josh Taylor too, he has to continually announce “I won the fight” when he knows that he didn’t, what a burden to carry. I doubt he’s slept well since the fight, living a lie and trying to convince people that they didn’t witness the worst decision in a British ring. Ian John Lewis should never handle another scorecard at any level.

Totally agree with Mr Moore, the scoring was absolute fantasy, the judges should never be employed again.

I never thought this could happen with British boxing, American, yes. This is disgraceful and the British Boxing Council should overturn this result.

This wasn't just a robbery in a sporting context, it was a literal crime.

The judge that gave Taylor 114 had him winning 8 rounds (due to the knockdown and point off). On what planet?!

It would be very interesting for someone to sit down with the "114-111 Taylor" judge and rewatch the fight on a screen with him and have him explain how he came to those scoring conclusions. I'm certain he would fall to bits in his explanations.

These judges man... they are screwing up the sport. What a shambles...

112-113, 114-111, 113-112 isn't a robbery. I've seen worse in 30 years. Without the point deduction in the 9th round, 2 of the judges would have scored it a draw, and they possible might have even given Jack the round because most judges automatically like put 8-10 on the card instead of 9-9. So that one round pretty much cost Jack the fight.

That’s the worst part imagine working your whole life, just to get done by a decision like that in favour of the champion

It'll probably be covered up and the same judges will be back judging in a couple of weeks.

The bookies had Catterall 1/10 on to win going into the last round. They knew he was winning the fight. Everyone at ringside, in the arena and at home knew Catterall won the fight. Out punched Taylor in all but one round. Boxing after tonight has lost yet more fans to ufc/mma. Is it any wonder. Jamie Moore knows pressure and pressure alone doesn't win fights. Taylor clearly lost that fight.

What do the judges get out of rigging the scorecards and why? What is there reason for this? Jack won that fight so obviously

Andre Ward on ESPN (TopRank) had Taylor ahead on his card 😂 That's when I knew a robbery was in process. Dropped, outlanded and schooled. Give him the Lineal Ring Magazine Belt Asap. El Gato, the undisputed.

THIS DECISION HAS TO BE OVERRULED. Josh Taylor needs to hand the titles to the NEW UNDISPUTED CHAMPION JACK CATTERAL.

I had to look to see if its even possible to overrule a decision, and found this... Boxing decisions cannot be overturned. Because gambling is so ingrained in boxing and has been for such a long time, a three judge point system was developed to prevent any one person from having the power to decide the winners and losers of any match.... So it doesn't even look like it can be over turned even if they wanted to. something needs to change in boxing, this is feels like its becoming more and more regular

I have been reading comments on different platforms related to this fight and haven’t seen one comment that didn’t say the fight wasn’t robbery. This alone tells the judges decision was wrong and need to be reviewed

How come the judges always stay in the shadows? Why are they never interviewed?
