Nearly every time that there’s a high profile game with a lot at stake there’s always controversial decisions that go their way. - Ramos offside against Atletico in 2016 - Two offside goals against Bayern in 2017 - Ramos deliberately injuring Salah in the 2018 final and doesn’t even get a yellow - Vinicius Jr grabs Orban by the throat against Leipzig yet doesn’t get sent off and then scores the winning goal to knock Leipzig out - Goal ruled out as offside against Bayern without letting var check Officials are human but the fact that this is happening year in year out in favour of Madrid is very questionable.

So glad our manager has the balls to speak the truth, I’m going to miss Tuchel. Every football fan in the world (Real Madrid fans aren’t included in that category) knows that it wouldn’t have happened the other way around, that there are ZERO excuses for such a call. What I’d love to know though is what the official excuse is. If the ref’s weren’t paid, did they just do it for a laugh? Was it a joke? Because I genuinely can’t fathom another reason

I think his point is spot on. The play not only looked onside to begin with, but the ref should not have blown the whistle at all. Having said that, he helped put Bayern into that bad position by subbing off players like Kane, late in the game. When he did that, I immediately thought about what would happen if Real tied it. Kane is a threat all the time and is particularly good at penalty kicks should that be used to decide the winner. Yes, he didn't score the couple of times he had good chances but that just means he was overdue to get one. Tall, tough to control and looked like he still had enough in him to keep going. You need that should the opposition tie the game. Instead, Tuchel went defensive and paid the price. Everyone knew that Real, especially in that capacity-filled stadium were going to go all out on trying to score. It's in their DNA. So while the refs decision in the end was harsh, the true damage had already been done.

Not right at all. +9 minutes of stoppage where added, the offside happened at 105. The ref pretty kuch gifted a 1st half extra-time to Bayern. Now THAT would have been robbery.

The offside was so marginal (if it was offside) the linesman should not have raised the flag. Although, to be fair, the keeper may have saved the goal if the referee hadn’t blown the whistle.

so many things that cannot be predicted my friend. How do you know the shot wouldn't have taken a defection? how do you know a defender wouldn't have panicked and caused a penalty ? How do you know the shot wouldn't have gone through a defenders legs and went in ? how do you know the shot wouldn't have been blocked leading toa corner kick that results in a goal ? so so so many thing cannot be predicted here. just the same way we couldn't have predicted Real Madrid getting back into the game as a result of a fata error by the keeper. And this is all from a neutral viewer who wasnt rooting for either club so i know im not biased towards anyone

Not only that ... by whistling the referee takes the VAR out of the picture, who then does not even have the chance to interfere. So, two massive and inexuable mistakes by the referees with devastating consequences. And to those who say it was most likely off-side, I say, how can you be sure, You can't, and you know it! Others, including well experienced referees cannot confirm it was off-side. There is a reason for a formal process with calibrated lines and that one picture is neither official nor is it very telling. Only official pictures with calibrated lines could have clarified that leaving no doubt, one way or another. And that has been prevented! So at this point this to me is a biased, arbitrary decision and in my opinion a clear betrayal not only to Bayern but to football itself, including the officiating community. After the Arsenal incident that really does not sit well, at all! And let's not forget Ronaldo's 2 crystal clear off-side goals against Bayern in 2017! BETRAYAL and CORRUPTION on the highest level at this point. Either way, this trio will not officiate such an important game any time soon, that is at least what we hear from some experts that are familiar with how UEFA handles serious cases like this. Damage control, nothing more ...

The call was bad, whistled too early, but that was not a disallowed goal. The play should be stopped when the ball was headed away, the defenders stopped already. The bad call was not directly influcing the goal. And love or hate any team you want, the ref put up his 2 fingers when 9mintue added time finished, annoucing to the stadium and cameras that there will be two more mintues for Bayern to catch up, no clips include that scene. And nobody likes to question why they are still playing at +14 when the timer says +9. And this play happened well over +14 mintues. The game eventually ended around 16 min added time. All that shouldn't even happen. If you complain about the ref, you should complain about all the bad calls, not just pick the one that put you in disadvantage in that moment.

Rule clearly says "Game stops when ref blow the whistle 2) at +9:36, refree show +2 but then game continued +5 after +9. Besides all, it was clear offside. Mazroui's knee was in front of rudiger. Even if it was not offside and var checked the position, then it would start from the point that offside was given. Goal wouldn't be given.
