It’s not easy to admit to people that you can’t cope or your world is falling apart. So for somebody like Richarlison a high profile Premier league and Brazil international to admit that even with all the money in the world, Depression doesn’t care who you are or what you are. My respect for Richarlison has risen a million fold, to see him in such distress was so brave and heartfelt. I’m happy that he has found a way to deal with his depression. I can say that if I had spoken to someone earlier continuously to treat my mental health I wouldn’t have to suffer such a miserable pain. I chose to deal with it myself as if no one would ever completely understand me. But I was wrong and I shouldn’t have been so stiff about it. I’m doing alright now but doing it on my own could’ve ended disastrously. And that’s not worth the risk. Also had my family and mainly my parents as a strength near the end when I needed people in my corner to talk to and work things out. My prayers go out to everyone who face this and I hope you all reach the peace we all search for
