You literally leach of other clubs putting pressure on them and then have the audacity to say they are not winning trophies. Clubs like Madrid and Chelsea have inflated the transfer market. The fans are what keep the club going. They spend their hard earn money for players and managers who earn more in a week than most people earn in five years. These managers come and go. They just see it as a job but most will be on to a next club when the opportunity comes. The fans will still be there supporting the club like they have for one hundred and forty two years. It's the managers job to change the fortune of a club. At least we don't attack our players like Real Madrid.

I remember hearing that the first EPL club to approach him before he went to Tottenham was Brighton, but he chose not to accept their offer. I wonder if he’s starting to wish he hadn’t, Brighton’s ambition seems to match his own.

Some fans not all…. I want to win and did not care… just some have a larger hate than love for the club… maybe it’s because Arsenal have been successful and these fans can’t bear it. Or maybe the Arsenal fans are bloody incredulous when they do win that it is horrendous and the Tottenham’s fans that are small minded can’t take it…. There is sense that the players and the manager moves on but we are left with the neighbours…. Every other fan needs to look at it from their own point of view if winning meant their main rivals were handed the league how would you feel. I wanted to win and did not care others really did… it is that simple and my sense that majority of the fans wanted to win

The problem is Levy, if what he is doing can be termed problem. He runs Tottenham as a business, keeps them in the green, and never overspends. Infact it's a selling club. So it's good for business, bad for winning trophies. which do you prefer?

All three of them winners and great managers, except at Tottenham.

The THFC sporting director try to sell their "ambitions" to a potential player after this, he will just hear laughter in the background just before the call ends

@@Webslinger8484the players that help teams be successful want money, yes but they also want to be at a club which want to play for trophies and compete for and in competitions like the Champions League. For most top talents the bare minimum is for the club to be in the Champions League before they’ll even consider a contract. Tottenham aren’t going to offer 400k per week to attract talent which isn’t already world class either, so they’re just going to end up with unambitious players who don’t care on overpriced contracts. I would say good luck but honestly Spurs and their fans don’t deserve it with their small club syndrome.

@@Webslinger8484 All EPL clubs have money. Including the ones where you do have a chance at winning trophies. Would be an easy choice for most players. Good luck with competing with all of those teams in the market. The very elite, the ones with real winning mentality will stay clear of Spurs now. Just playing PL would be enough for players Spurs might sign, but Im talking about players who want to compete for trophies of note.

Brother, if these players want money. Arab will get them more. Not only having free taxes. They also have this project for 15 years. So, What's the pull of Tottenham? They're not even competitive and passionate, Toxic ass fanbase, and out of UCL and potentially any major European competition. Chelsea at least has ambition despite went anywhere but the target is still there. Nothing will come with current Tottenham culture.
